@adey, yeah, a few of my mates in London said they're sad about that lol.

@pope, the funny thing is, it is against Islam to be force someone into the religion. People who do it aren't following the rules lol.

@moon, Bahrain definately is a great place. TOOO many Saudis and Kuwaitis though now! I couldn't even MOVE around the country as I used to. It's getting too packed!

Okay, we got it out of our collective systems. Back to normal. Or at least as normal as it comes around here ;)

Come on over to Bahrain. We have a load of good pubs with heaps of atmosphere, good food and an excellent taxi service to get you back to your hotel room at the end of the evening.

Only QR800 on Qatar Airways (even less on Bahrain Air & Gulf Air) and a few shekels for a hotel room. For the time of your life - come to Bahrain!

Half the indigenous populations of Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE can't be wrong!!!

I thought that religion is being force as an addiction in this part of the world. I'm just being critical with my thoughts. I'm having a distilled spiritual crisis lately. Don't listen to me.

In archaeological perspective about Divorce woman, lots of pharaohs have succumbed to their tombs due to their actions.

Sheesha banded?

Are you sure? I know that many can't function because of the smoking ban, there is not enough out door space on the sreets in London and the weather makes smoking outside undesireable, thus many are closing down.

But banned?

@janeyjaney, why is alright for everyone to question Qatar, Religion, etc.. but if I ask a question I need to spare people. It was an honest and genuine question.

I may not drink, but it doesn't mean I don't go to the Bars to hang with friends.

@abu, you had the same thought lol.

@Adey, thanks for giving me your point of view. I really appreciate your responses because they're fair and clear :) (I'm not being sarcastic)

Sadly in the UK, Sheeshas will soon be banned, then it'll be Pubs ok, sheeshas no :(

once i walked into a drunk and got barred.

I was not comparing a mosque and pub in that way - that was tongue in cheek

But I could drink at home as you could pray, but would you not rather pray with others than pray on your own at home?

"The other is a place to get drunk, intoxicate your mind and is an addiction" ( I notice your :p )you dont have to get drunk, just have a couple of drinks in fact pubs are the bad places to get drunk in - as I am sure you know in the uk IT IS ILLEGAL TO SERVE A DRUNK PERSON IN A BAR.

Well, Amnesia we're not all on the same boat. We drink, you don't and I don't think you'll ever understand that. Could you just spare us and just let us enjoy ourselves without questioning it?

By the way, you have to know as well that not all of us go out to get piss drunk. For some it's more of a place where we don't feel we're not in a barren desert. ;)

@adey, one is a place of worship to clear your mind and be enlightened. The other is a place to get drunk, intoxicate your mind and is an addiction :P

I don't really think thats an equal comparison.

however if a Mosque were closed, I can still pray at home :)

Why not go to a cafe or a Sheesha (although smoking is as bad as drinking)

Yup thats it, the atmosphere. I still have loads of booze at my place just staring at me. Much prefer going out and having a pint with my pals and soon and very soon we'll be able to do that. :)

The rush is because they have been closed for a month! - imagine if all the mosques were closed for a month :)

Plus it's the atmosphere not the booze - one could have drunk one's self silly at home during Ramadan - it's the pub atmosphere not the drink one misses. Well for me it is.

I know that some people enjoy a drink now and then, but why are you in a rush to run back to the bars. I'm being serious.

@southland, they're stricter than here.
