Handball team for expatriates?

also wanted to play handball in a seniors or fun team. i am an "early retired pro" player and wanted to use some training sessions to keep body shape...seems i have to look for something else :-(

Well I just saw on the page that there is some games of Doha Handball league in 8 days, I will try to go there for seeing something of it, at least to see some Handball again... No clue yet how the level here is in the clubs...

Well maybe some people can be found to arrange some kind of fun Handball every now and then...

I am much older than you to be honest so I wouldn't let it worry me lol, I nearly as far as I need a walking stick.

QL has a lot of healthy young, medium and old men lol so an opportunity already presents itself here lol.

No it is not in mind only, my bones are "crushing" every minute... ;-)

However, handball or any other sports is just a fun factor and a good help for making friends...

Starting a team on my own is a hard thing not knowing any other handball players around the place... specifically when it comes to other teams to play against... ;-)

OMG I hope I did not make the impression I am professional... I am far not... I was as well looking for a fun thing... In Germany their is clubs of all levels, I am more looking for a lower level myself... ;-)

The fun factor is basically the only thing that counts...

Well you know you could always start a team of you own and the age doesn't matter as it's all in the mind lol

Just had the idea to come into some kind of social life here after being here for one year without any such...

To be honest when I lived in Berlin I wanted to join the ladies hockey team and they told me I could only play as a senior and that at mid 30's it was just they way they said blunt and to the point. Just go for the senior dear your boy days are finally over lol.

Well, that's true in a way, but in Germany was still playing with teammates that were 18-23, so I stayed young in a way... ;-)

But you think I am in the age for changing to Golf? ;-)))
