Gulf Times unsafe?
I use the new McAfee anti-virus that also indicates potentially unsafe sites.
I got this message when I logged on this morning:

When we tested this site we found links to usafis.org, which our analysis found to be deceptive or fraudulent.

You were correct, the reason MaCafee flag the site is because the link site is tryin to sell something that is free elsewhere.
Thanks Marjorie. Obviously the rating of the fraudulent site carried some truth. I will take particular note of the MaCafee ratings in future.
It's not an unsafe site to visit, but it's fradulent. It's a scam. See here.
Thanks mochafrap. I'm not worried at all, it's just that until yesterday the site was clean
why would a green card lottery website be considered as unsafe? the only thing i can think of is that it probably has a lot of pop-up adds, and those are known to be potential spyware bearers.
don't think you should be worried though. worst case scenario you can just run a cleanup on any of the anti-spyware program (adaware, spybot, etc..) and it should be fine.
