Good Day / Bad Day

It's not all bad. I had a GOOD experience in Qatar today. Something went smoothly. I went to the Q-Tel shop and got myself signed up for the mobile broadband deal for 400 Riyals a month unlimited usage (a bit pricey, but there you go). I was in and out of the shop in 20 minutes and, took it home, inserted the SIM card into the USB stick, stuck it into my laptop, installed the software and got connected. Not one glitch. It's a decent-ish speed too. Haven't tried Skype on it yet...that's another story.

Bad day was having to buy electronic goods from Giant Stores. On my first trip I purchased a 2GB memory stick for my PSP. It was a reasonable price (for here). Took that home and the PSP didn't like it. Oh no. It wasn't a Sony one, anyway. Took it back and the guy in the shop replaced it by taking a Sony memory stick from a Sony digital camera box.

I should have anticipated my next problem. While I was there I bought a webcam. On the box it said "headset included". When I got home it was quite evident that the box had already been opened and there WAS NO HEADSET.

So if anyone buys a Sony camera from Giant Stores and wants to know where the free memory stick is...

It's never boring here, for sure.

Never heard or experienced like that before..it astonishes me that it happens with the ones like Carrefore as they dont even allow to open the pack before it is billed ... seems if it happens we have to live with it...

Is it just typical of Doha !!!!!!!

feel sorry though for the bad part of ur day....

my husband requested me to buy ice today, i was surprised with the price the last time i bought it was only qr4.

What Qr8 for one pack of ice?

and the answer I got from the indian vendor was.. . . .

"Dont worry its original"
