Golf - Qatar Masters

Looking for something to do this weekend? Head up to Doha Golf Club to see the finest golfers in the world - Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie, Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, etc, etc. Starts on Thursday and entry is FREE. Lasts for four days, final day is Sunday. It's a great way to spend some time, and get up really close to the professionals as it's never that busy - another great sporting event hosted by Qatar that you would pay dearly for elsewhere in the world! It's very sociable, and there's a beer tent/village serving 'refreshments' and live entertainment too, plus things for kids to do.

Check it out!

The company where I work for is actually one of the sponsors of the game. They even paid for my hospitality pass (That's why I couldn't just say 'no' when they asked me to host a caddy) but I think if you'll just watch then its free. It'll be one of those be-there moments in Doha. (:

It's free for everyone, but I think access to the clubhouse is for members only. However, there are lots of stands, seating, etc so room for everyone!

ha ha -I've got a caddy staying at my house too, but thankfully, he's definitely not creepy and has some VERY entertaining stories to tell!

Yeah, I'm planning to attend. I'm actually 'hosting' a creepy old man against my will. He's actually one of the golfer's caddies for the Qatar Masters. Why on earth my friend keep offering to host someone in my lovely house, I shall never know.
