Germans were Cannibals..

Could this be the secret behind their foot balling success ???

Human skeletons found in Germany offer evidence of prehistoric cannibalism

The ribs were picked clean, tongues cut out and the heads skinned, so that the tops of skulls could be sliced off like boiled eggs.

An international team of archaeologists and anthropologists is puzzling over a discovery in Germany of about 500 prehistoric skeletons that seem to suggest that men, women and children were eaten as part of a sacrificial ritual to save their community.

“We detected patterns on the bones of animals indicating that they had been spit-roasted,” Bruno Boulestin, an anthropologist from the University of Bordeaux who has been analysing 217 reassembled human bones from the site, said. “We have seen some of these same patterns on the human bones.” The human remains, found near the village of Herxheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, show signs of intentional mutilation. Many of the bones appear to have been chewed before they were placed in the pits.
There has been speculation about the bodies since the initial dig in Herxheim in 1996. “Initially researchers assumed there must have been a bloody massacre on the site,” said Andrea Zeeb-Lanz, an archaeologist based in nearby Speyer. However, humans in the Linear Pottery Culture of the Early Neolithic period, from which the 7,000-year-old bones date, would typically have killed each other with stone axes. The Herxheim skeletons indicated tidier deaths.

svelte hi5!!! I am still waiting for his idiotic argument that his ancestors took a few thousand years more to get civilized because they wanted to do it perfectly, In my opinion they were just too dumb to get civilized sooner but hey to each his own..

:) i would believe so if the bones were of german origins as well...

afterall, their superiority complex would not allow them to taint themselves with the intake of blood and meats from lower races (or were they stupid?):)

legal_pad sorry to infringe on your ignorance but there was no Pakistan back then so couldn't be Pakis no?

They can't be Indians either ( ofcourse they weren't called Indians then they were called Bharatiyas as per their country's name Bharat at that time, India was a name given by Brits) as Indians were happily living in a civilized society back then while the Europeans were still hanging upside down from the trees and eating fellow community members ( They surely weren't developed enough to be called humans)..

Sorry for trying to get rid of your ignorance and stupidity, you can carry on with your idiotic comments now.

Human skeletons found in Germany offer evidence of prehistoric cannibalism, yeap! most of them are Hindu-Paki slaves capture by the Greeks and sold later to the Roman Legions.

got a chance to meet and live with Germans before, and I guarantee - -they are carnivorous...but not cannibals! they just love meat, especially pork!

Nways, just had marathon of the Hannibal(the Cannibal) Lecter film series. Apparently, Hannibal was from Lithuania, not Germany. :)

The ribs were picked clean, tongues cut out and the heads skinned, so that the tops of skulls could be sliced off like boiled eggs....i am seeing a lot of these skulls sliced off like boiled eggs around here. is it possible that those who are wearing headgears were victims?

another thing, i bet most of those tongues cut were talkatives or women.. if this is the case i love germans.
