I love both hotels. The brunches at both are excellent, Four Seasons winning on the choice, Ritz - on presentation. The rooms are very good and the service is way better than in most 5 star hotels I stayed in around the world. The club and spa at the Ritz are awesome, but too expensive.

I am allergic with hotel food. Especially the prices since i don't eat alot. lol... Prefer going to Thai Snack for thai food, or Central Restaurant for Indonesian food.

Don't like the food at either of them (Not their fault, more inclined to spicy food). Staff are friendly at both places. Have not stayed there though.

Just my two bit.

Ritz Doha is better for food

4Seasons is better for welcome / service / comfort

4Seasons should have a club

Ritz should be less far from business center of Qatar ...

:)

Why do you say the are too pretentious? I believe service is excellent at both hotels. I have stayed in few of the FS and the worst one was the FS in LA-beverly hills. THAT was pretentious.

I haven't spent a night in FS or Ritz here, but have tried the restaurant in both and have no complains whatsoever. Did you have a bad service experience? Please be more specific.

Neither.

Too pretentious. Service doesn't live up to the name.
