The annual World Sauna Championships in Finland have ended in tragedy with the death of one of the finalists, the organisers said.
The event, which has been running since 1999, requires participants to withstand 110C for as long as possible.

Is this not too much? Is everything allowed in the name of competition?
Rest in peace.

Stupid competition, should never have allowed them to hold this competition.

Fathima, the news says that the dead guy has burn injuries. I don't understand what the organisers were doing while he sustained burn injuries.....

"The Finnish news agency STT said both middle-aged men were seen to have severe burns on their bodies and were given first aid after they collapsed."

Talk about deadly competing! Guess this poor guy didn't learn "Winning isn't everything" As for the organisation I believe they did take all the precaution they thought they need,Allahu alim. What a tragedy but hope it serves as a warning to future competitors!
