Why are Egyptians so restless?

What happened to the people who 'supposedly' built The Pyramids?
For the record - I don't believe these ANIMALS built the PYRAMIDs :)

Yes brit. :) like In Scandinavian countries some people asked why Obama is Nobel Laureate. :)
Please don't say anything against El Baradei. he is a Nobel laureate and his masters in another country love him for his work with the IAEA..
Egypt health ministry confirms women and children among 42 killed in Cairo shooting.
Egypt: ‘42 killed’ in shooting at Cairo Republican Guard compound
Baradei will even justify this killing to just somehow get power. Poor chap gets tantalisingly close to power only to see it go further away

'Animals' is not for a NATION ya habibi. I used it for people who RAPED these victims.Get your facts right before you start pointing fingers.
No he is a democratic person. :)
How come BlueBull can use such bad words for a nation. Shame on you bluebull.
politics is for politicians. Keep up working for better living.

Don't believe what you read in press. Especially in chaotic times, some press and media tries to make things worse.
If there are some real Egyptian friends in here it would be good to hear their comments from the first source.

Democracy is a nonsense. Governments are always comprising of thugs who work for a benefit of certain groups & rest of the people are too afraid of raising their voices against these thugs. Who is protesting against whom? One group of thieves against other group of thieves. It will take a long time for a common man to understand the reality of world politics. Till then...........keep killing and dying.
How do you rape someone in a crowd ?
The report claims that the woman had to have surgery following the attack, and has since been released from the hospital. The Army is reportedly investigating the rape.
http://www.mrconservative.com/2013/07/20775-dutch-reporter-gang-raped-by-5-men-during-anti-muslim-brotherhood-protests/
Sadly, one of the givens in Egypt is that, when there’s a big enough crowd, Egyptian men will rape women. In February 2011, during the initial phase of Egypt’s “Arab Spring,” a mob near Cairo’s Tahrir Square attacked and sexually assaulted CBS reporter Lara Logan. Over the last few days in Tahrir square, even as Egyptians celebrated their revolution against the Muslim Brotherhood, men have assaulted at least 91 women, with many of them raped. One of the women who was brutally raped was a Dutch journalist (or, according to different reports, a tourist) who had to be hospitalized with severe injuries.
Brit: couldn't agree more!
I don't see how this is a victory for democracy in Egypt.
It was the Egyptian people that voted in the president, and now the mob demands his overthrow?
And to make things even worse big brother's untrustworthy friend “The military " steps in and dumps the president!
This is exactly the sort of situation that first world's Framers wanted to avoid when they laid down their Constitutions.
A sad day. Beware of what you might wish for..
Democracy does not mean that you rebel against an elected government you don't like..
CONGRATULATIONS EGYPT
CONGRATULATIONS EGYPT
CONGRATULATIONS EGYPT
CONGRATULATIONS EGYPT
It is not about Morsi
The Egyptian as always proved that they can't take any decision.
Mursi is/was the first president with a democratic election and i think will be the last.
Nobody knows where the things will go now, but i think they will be feel better with a new dictator.
Morsi might not be the best, but they chose him, and now they are fighting him, ARE THEY PLAYING, ARE THEY KIDS?
Now they are about to face a damn civil war, they will forget about egypt and will be divided with Pro-Musri and Anti-Morsi.
Best Wishes Egypt, you deserve better that what you have.
Nothing to congratulate.. there is going to be more bloodshed soon.. Channels are showing anti-Morsi but there are huge population of pro-morsi are there..this is just the inheritance of the Mubarak Era...A president elected democratically forced out is not something deserve congratulations.. 25%-40% are not really happy with the decision of the military and there will be more bloodshed.
I read it. However
It is a sad situation. Civil war will pursue and the biggest earner for Egypt - tourism; will go.
Sad, sad, sad!

Sad, sad, sad!
AlJazeera is trying it's best to save Muslim Brotherhoods face whereas CNN has already blown the lid.
I hope the people of Egybt awake up and recognize that an Islamic Egybt is long dead. Non - Muslims are vying to stand up and get counted. Bravo!
Today, democracy died in Egypt. I hope the people who were manipulated are happy now.
You think,,, it is too late to think
They really don't know, what a pity for the country itself
I am watching the news now, i think there is no single Egyptian in his home, they are all in the streets!
Just a year back the same people who wanted to give their life to get the military out of power are now welcoming moves by military to depose Mursi and grab power!
I think these people don't know what they want.
BlueBull ,, Have you watched Mursi Speech :O)
Looks like another dictatorship is in the making.
BlueBull as Mr. Jawad_B asked you to go and to read first, probably one day you will understand something. One thing baffles me the most .... if you do not like those animals, then why you worship them!
Wow now CNN can count people in numbers... maybe they interviewed each one of them...
recent updates,
Clashes between Pro/anti Morsi.. many people have been beaten..more to continue..
Pro_Morsi would like to stand as shield to protect the President..
It is suspected that the military itself was leaking some reports to the media to test people's reaction (AJE)
One thing baffles me the most....these guys are protesting or supporting the government for their rights ,freedom and dignity. Why can't they respect the same of others.
Close to 100 women have fallen victim to "rampant" sexual attacks in Cairo's Tahrir Square during four days of protests against Egypt's Islamist President Mohamed Morsi, Human Rights Watch said on Wednesday. Source (AJE - Blog)
This shows the crowd nature.
All Middle east countries having oil will follow... whats happening in Egypt...
There will be perpetual uncertainty... in these countries...
Kuwait and Bahrain are new to this...
UAE police had information that such stuff is "organized"
Everyone will pay the price.. share index falls 1.7% cuz of the unrest.
Why not they have an early Presidential Elections to prevent the capricious army to take over..
It is not Islamic to give sweeping powers to someone over judiciary.. they have done their own mistakes...
The challenge now is to subdue the military to civilian will, as per democracy's basic tenets - but also to oppose a president and a group that has attempted to put itself above constitutional-based accountability.
They voted a radical power starved ex-banned Islamist party and they expect them not to be a bunch of theocratic totalitarian bigots?
Funny!
This is a very interesting article http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2013/07/201372175018318165.html from an Eyptian Pen.
At the end I think it is going to be ruled by military .. corruption again all over. :)
rape mentality is most dangerous...
Oh ! so many mindless of them on streets
Out of 85.7 million 33 m are outside.. this is a world record. :) as per CNN Egyptian protesting yesterday (33M) was the largest protesters in a political event in the history of mankind.
Mubarak, the dictator never rule egypt under sharia law.... please understand....
and I support what LLRR said, if you wanna follow the religion, then follow it 100%.... or else leave it to politicians...
A Dutch journalist has been raped by a group of five men in Cairo's central Tahrir Square as millions of protesters take to the streets to demand the removal of President Mohammed Mursi, according to reports.

Yes if they follow it 100% with all aspects without being biased with a specific community it would have gone much better..
Hgl - Are you referring to the Indian Democracy or The Australian ?
LLR...nope...to your statement "..if they follow religion properly it would have gone much better".
BYE BYE morsi, enjoy the rest of your life in jail.
Democracy with religion at its core is no democracy. Guess, for democracy to be in place and floursh, religion has to be taken out from it and govt should function keeping interest of all citizens, irrespective, in view.
Lets see 7 hours to go as per Morsi Timer
http://morsitimer.com/
Yes I second suliman.. MB is not what they have entitled their names to be.. there are so many issues with them..if they follow religion properly it would have gone much better..they are also a politicians. :) I heard even HH is not in favour of MB.
I doubt he will have much choice. Many of the ministers are already deserting the ship.
..as if MB will accept army's attempt easily?
I dont think so.
I see a troubled future, sadly, resulting in another autocracy.
The Army has said that it will draft a new constitution and new guidelines..
So, the balance of power could be shifted against the brotherhood and similar parties.
The Muslims brother is not a religion party, they just care about Authority and Power
They are in Jordan, i knew about their rules, there are members don't even Pray!!!
So don't bee fooled by a long beard
Anyway back to the topic
After 30 years of being Handcuffed now they get the "Freedom", and they couldn't understand how to deal with it, they chose the wrong person or they didn't wait enough, at any case they are trying to solve their mistake in a wrong way.
HGL, The problem is, opinion is divided and the army is with the liberals. It's next to impossible that a peaceful settlement can be made without further protests or rioting. The condition is deepening spiraling into a civil war.
Best would be if everyone showed patience and allowed the democratic processes to go on. Even if Morsi hands over power to the second in command, the agenda of the government will be the same...dictated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Presently, there is no party that can beat MB, so re-election will not change the scenario.
If I read it right on Guardian...that is what is the issue of the people of Egypt...they seem to say what Morsi is doing is not what they elected him for. And allowing him full term would make things difficult laters to reverse. As I said on another thread, the people who fought know better what their expectations were...it is good to remove someone who isnt meeting those expectations and doing something contrary to the expectations before it is too late to reverse the process and the Egyptians on the ground know it better than anyone of us. Hope they get what they want without much of harm to anyone.
Brit, I am also of the opinion that democracy should prevail and Morsi should be allowed to do his term.
Even if 100% of what you say is correct, the fact remains that he was elected by the people and must be allowed to complete his term. Then the people can vote him and his party out.
I don't like Ca-Moron or Clegg. I will go and peacefully protest against them, but I will not go out and try and overthrow the government.
Thankfully, the army in the UK knows its place. The Generals in Egypt think of themselves as Pharoahs.
Egypt is taking its part to make a way to implement islamic laws and the people are so stupid that they don't have any patience, harassment and raping of women in the protest tells all the story that there are stupid westerns after it and in the protest as well most of them are non muslims.
People simply copy idea of democracy without having basic tenets of it, and result in chaos.
Democracy means everyone is EQUAL to one vote ONLY, no less-no more !!!
Some societies are not meant for democracy!
forget democracy, they dont have basic tenets of democracy in them!
there can be only two option to rule-dictatorship or theocratic,
a benevolent dictatorship will be best bet for Al-Misr!
Reasons are simple..Mubarak ruled as a dictator for 30 years with an iron fist but he wasn't conservative. Staunch muslims couldn't protest to make the country more Islamic as they feared Mubarak. Thirty years of rule by one person gradually weakened the democratic bent of mind in people. Also, local political parties lost support of the mass.
Muslim Brotherhood is a big political party with its tentacles in neighbouring countries as well. Though conservative, through sheer political force, they managed to win the elections. They have a conservative muslim agenda that Morsi is trying to implement. This agenda is not liked by many liberals who have seen Mubarak's rule.
Why is it like this
I think it's the Christians/Liberals over the Muslims! No matter what the world says!
They just don't want to be ruled by religion...or so it seems.
I'm surprised at how inefficient a Morsi can get? Where did this guy come from?
Give mursi a chance! My misr brothers please allow democracy sufficient time to solve ur problems , since you all have thrown out a dictator who ruled for 30 years , you need to work together with the govt to prosper your country, the opposition will play games and show that the govt is doing nothing. Don't take it by heart , this is a part of being a democratic country ,,
And BTW, you e'g'yptians can never make pyramids again!
Sexual harassment have increased 99.3% in Egypt since the REVOLUTION"
