Does anyone have any information regarding the Tennis Tournament? The website is not really up to speed regarding what is going on since the Touyrnament is due to start today 1-1-07.
We are new to Qatar and like every one else want to make the most of events like these. We have been lucky to meet some great people who have told us about events and places but we wondered if there was some where we could regularly check to get details of what is going on.
it's free to get in, but you still need to have a ticket. the semi-finals are on friday the 5th and the final is saturday. you cannot get tickets for the next day until the present days' matches are complete.
example....if you wanted to go on friday, you have to wait until the thursday matches are over before getting a ticket because they won't make out the friday schedule until thursday night.
hope this helps....i plan to check out the semis on friday.
