-nsmcleon, i see many of mad and psycopath men drivers every day that i refer to as 'mad drivers'. If i could give tickest to the people on the roads 99% of my victims would be men drivers as they dont know how to driver.

Males in Australia pay higher premiums to insure their car, than females, as insurance companies consider them high risk drivers. To me that says it all, males are hopless on the roads and the roads will be more safer without them. Of course its usually the young males.

ived been in saudi arabia, the reason why there are high rate of accident is that even kids can drive there. i saw it by my own eyes, he is standing in front of the steering wheel driving a land cruiser and his mother on the passenger seat. what it is?

most of the victims are young drivers. age 10 to 40 are too dangerous driver in saudi arabia, they are locals. and usually they are hitting the other nationalities sometimes intentionally.

be aware, if you happen to go there, think first before you drive...

women drive only in the outskirt of the town. if you are in jeddah, you will see them going to obhur driving a cayene, LC, Audi, etc..very fast. these women maybe a princess or daughter of a very rich family...

but I think we don't change anything in our "big guys'" mentality...even with all these tragic statistic figures:-(

but as a general rule, never go to the fast lane unless you are overtaking. That lane is specific for overtaking. Whether you are traveling on the specified speed, still the fact remains that it is the overtaking lane. For the particular situation you mentioned, you have a point but still, as everybody will say, don't you even think of doing it at your convenience, believe me, that lane is for overtaking.

azilana, I'm very sure that if you turn you signal light the DRIVER behind you and on the center lane will give way.that's one way to apply your signal light..believe me....and you're not suppose to change lane immediately...they will wait to take your move....

meaning: even if I use my signals to change lanes, there are vehicles (at almost the same speed as I am) along the middle lane that changing lanes (so just to give way TO THE BLINKING IDIOT) would EITHER cause me to bump another vehicle...GOT IT, NOW?

I'll assume you're a drive too...MALE DRIVERS drive at 90-100kph on roads with speed limits of 80kph.

I drive at max of 78-80kph and if other drivers wants to drive past the 20kph more than SPEED LIMIT ...it's their PROBLEM.

as you can see in most roads here, there are 3 lanes. if you think you cannot drive fast choose the right lane for slow moving vehicle stay on outer or drive in the middle. the fast lane which is the inner lane is for speeding vehicle or for overtaking eventhough the road sign says 80kph.usually no one pay attention to the 80kph unless it is posted near the camera.

to avoid the blinking lights make a habit of looking at your rear mirror and side mirror so that when you see a speeding car you can safely move aside as early as possible.

make it a habit because we dont know if the driver behind is in a hurry for something we dont know...

all of us dont want accident, and we never protect only ourselves but others too. when i took exam in the phils, caloocan LTO. i read one amazing rules, and now i am practicing it anywhere. it says: " wag mong ipilit kahit ikaw ang tama, kung magdudulot ng aksidente sa sinuman sa inyo" kindly translate na lang...

azilana, you should have let that guy/gal passed. you're in 80kph, you are also allowed to drive in center lane at 80kph. let him/her be caught with an over speeding violation. many lady drivers possesses danger on the roads.

azilana, it would not cause you an accident if you will turn your signal to the right. that way the driver behind you will be aware that you will take the center lane an will wait for you to move over. how come the speeding driver was able to overtake from your right side but you told that "but at that point, the possibility of me changing lane may cause me an accident or even my life." he might be rushing due to emergency...

you have to give way though if the driver behind you is exceeding the limit..We are not the police and we cannot stop them.

Just came home from THE PEARL and guess what:

I was driving on the left lane (max speed was supposedly 80kph) when this idiot in a landcruiser tailgated me and started blinking his lights.

To think I'm driving 75-80kph and he wants me to move??? NO WAY JOSE!!!! So, I turned on my hazard lights, slowed down to 70kph and waited what he would do next. As expected, he went to the middle lane and drive beside me, I shouted to him @$%$%^&*O^$ and he sped off.

I'm usually calm and practice road courtesy but sometimes, other drivers are too much...

Life would be so boring without lady drivers. I love watching them srive whilst using mobile phones or doing some makeup at the lights..

I had an experience with a woman driver (hehehe, wooooowwww...) it's not what you think guys...hehehe..

I was driving in Salwa, I was in center lane when suddnely a speeding SUV was rushing on my lane, flashing her headlights. I was wondering why is she doing that where I was in the center lane. I gave her a sign that she has to drive on the fast lane which still she's on my rear and flashing her lights...Until she decided to take the fast lane but before she passed through me her keeps on trash talking....driving is not all about the rules it's the experience and judgment that matters.

oh man, maybe she wanted help from you and by this sign which you gave to her she thought this guy dosent want to help her....that is why she said trash words to you...=P

yeah speed limit is different habibi...80 is for those who are moving in middle and slow lane, but for high speed lane you have to maintain 80 when you approach Speed Camera ;)

If the right lane is 80, the middle lane is 160 and the left lane is 240 km/h.

Whether it's nervousness or total obliviousness - I don't care what you drive or what gender you espouse or what nationality your passport says you have. If you're not willing to do the speed limit, get out of the fast lanes AND use your mirrors before you try to change lanes. And your turn signals are not decorations - they're there for a purpose.

Also, check your tail lights occasionally - in Canada you're ticketed/fined for driving with turn signals, brake lights and back up lights that don't function.

And get in the right lane before you're 20 yards from the signal - usually you have time beforehand, if you're a prudent and responsibile driver.

And of course, the pet peeve, "you're a wonderful driver so your children don't have to be in car seats or restrained with seatbelts" - hope that comforts you when they're dead.

Well this is general concept but you cant say that all women drivers sucks or all men drivers are king of the road. i have seen women driving brilliantly (esp those women having Camry =P) on road but at the same time I have also experienced women hitting a stationary object while driving carelessly. Same case for men too... Yeah but this is a fact that majority men are good drivers (maybe because they are hugeeeee in numbers =P )

i am a fast driver ...i ssee many men suddenly coming in my way in retarded way..some men drive in stupid way as they are nervous and scared to death..it doesnt mean i should make my opinion abt all men .that all men are stupid drivers.there are exception..

its not cautious but its nervousness simple as that women are lot more nervous on the road thats what i feel

My first official license was at age 15, hauling farming and cargo trailers for my father in 2-3/4 ton pickup trucks.

Yet, in my own experience some females are worthless in their own driving manners here in Doha. just because their own rich husbands bought them those expensive SUV and cars.

They think they own the roads, not all of them; but the great majority. Just send them back for intensive remedial driving school.

Not ALL women are lousy drivers, just like ALL men don't have road rage, however I think someone should tell that to the Filipina I was next to at Sana roundabout with the Gulf times on her knee, perusing special offers from a supermarket :P

Women drivers are too cautious and drive too slow which makes the men drivers angry. Once the male drivers are angry on the road, they get involved in road rage incidents.

Seriously though, Women just need to relax while driving, they are too tensed and concious about the whole thing. Just my observation.
