Electrical sockets in Qatar

Can anybody tell me the type of electrical sockets currently used in Qatar please. The description I've heard from another site is that they sound like the UK 13amp sockets with 3 rectangular pins, can someone confirm this for me please. Regards

The key of maintaining the new conditions to immediately in your go is to keep in mind that while both mistake recognition and mistake restoration both identify issues http://www.certificationkey.com/Cisco-Certification-Training/642-357.php

Thank you for the replies, I'm coming from the UK so at least I dont need to bring adapters. I have a 13 amp plug in mains tester that I shall bring, might be usefull by the sounds of it.

Plenty of CE quality plugs & sockets around in the market, you get what you pay for.

Yes British type design plugs & sockets but unfortunately rarely CE quality. Chinese-made cheap and cheerful trash is the norm.

And PLEASE do not use multi-plug adaptors. They are usually junk and will not handle anything like 13A without dangerously overheating.

Who claim to know what they were doing but were probably a plumber back in their home country before they became a PM and self certified to sign off electrical installations....

Tested and approved by an Arab or a western project manager/consultant so we get interesting effects.

And yes they are the same ones that you use in UK.

...however normally wired by someone from the sub continent so sometimes you get interesting effects....

If you are coming from a country with a 220 v system getting adaptors for 2 round pins is very easy. They're available nearly everywhere. If you are coming from a 110 v country, step down transformers are also available - you just have to be careful of the wattage.
