Delayed Visa Processing

Hi everyone out there:

Just to share!

I just came now from Immigration at Gharaffa to follow the status of our visa application for approval. We went there for how many times, if I am not mistaken it's like (8x)days in total.

It was not a joke to fall in line, get ticket from the reception entrance and to talk to the concern personnel because most of them they can't understand what you really want to know, otherwise they cannot help you in a way. Sometimes they will tell you do this, do that but still it was a mistake (wrong command or instruction from the authority itself of immigration).

Base on our experience, me and my husband used to go together to know whether our visa will approve or not, because we need to transfer my visa under his sponsorship (husband sponsor).

Our last went there 2 wks back, they said that our papers/docs was missing...meaning we have to start again in zero...from the beginning...yani wat to do? very disappointing moment for us...

then..again..we went there..to check..they said that we need CR no of my company...we saw our mandoob processing my NOC and CR number for stamping..he finished and sent to them...let's see what will happen next...

Last Dec.03, 2012, we got a chance to talked to the Captain and he told us to comeback after 2days which is today 05Dec12..so we went there to know again the status of our visa, and they said it's approved...but suddenly..the captain gave our receipt to one qatari men beside him and check our application and he saw on their system that our papers are not yet complete...how come we said???? it was embarrassing!!!we're about to cry at that very moment...but we did not loose hope..i told to my husband...give me the copy of our tickets and CR copy of my company and let's go back to the Captain again one more time...

....meet and talk again to the Captain..he got again our receipt for reference...after 1hr of waiting with much patient...which is very difficult to control...we feel hungry and not comfortable because we don't know if they will approve or not our application.

...again the captain called us and said...your visa is appproved but you need to renew the iqama of your husband bcoz it was expired for 1week.

Thanks God for all the help and miracles..there nothing wrong to believe and have faith in HIM...as long as you are TRUSTING HIM with all your hearts...

hopefully we got my husband iqama nxtwk...they i can print and pay my visa...
