Dad aims to breastfeed kids

And you thought I was strange .....

A MAN is taking part in a bizarre experiment in an attempt to breastfeed his future kids.
University student Ragnar Bengtsson, 26, will stimulate his nipples with a breast pump every three hours.

And he hopes that by December he will start to produce milk.

Bengtsson, from Stockholm, Sweden, said: "Anything that doesn't do any harm is worth trying.

"If it works it could prove very important for men's ability to get closer to their children at an early stage.

"If the milk turns out to have a high nutritional value it could be a real breakthrough. But some people think it's completely sick."

Professor Sigbritt Werner, of Stockholm's Karolinska Institutet, said it could be possible for him to produce "a drop or two" in three or four months. Bengtsson already has a son of two but he will not take part in the experiment.

When my kids were small I let them suck my finger. They did not know the difference and were happy and became "bonded", too. (No need to grow boobs, guys.)

If a there is a sudden abnormal stimulation or increase of production of estrogen in a male, lactation on men is possible.

Bengtsson is preparing to pump his breasts at three-hour intervals every day until the beginning of December. As a full time economics student at Stockholm University, he is not always going to be in a position to pump in private.

"I'm going to have to pull out the pump during lectures. But really it doesn't bother me if it makes people uncomfortable. If they have issues with it that's their problem," he said.
