Cricket - World Cup Broadcasts

Just checkin if any of u know if Fox sports will be broadcasting the World Cup this time....
if not i have heard that many guys were getting the TATA Sky decoders from India and hooking it up here and they get to see all the channels including sports....
it's really cheap and it costs just 25 Riyals a month....and the receiver costs abts 350 Riyals....
I guess that wud be the last option if Fox is not going to show the matches...
han19 and coolasice, any incidents where the decoder is getting confiscated. Han, could you elaborate on how ppl get away with it in customs? M planning to bring one!

When there is two match in same day & same time one will telecast on Fox sports & the other on Channel V International.
So, no chance to miss any matches.
getting it done in india is no problem and i have it in india and i have a dish here.
i have enquired about getting the decoder here or whatever the part is called and its illegal.they have confiscated them earlier.they do ask you at the customs and you gotto be smart enough to get away with it.
ofcourse many have gotten away with it so they are enjoying tatasky.

..thts the issue...how it works is like this...
u have to get the tata sky installed at your home in India after which u have to get the decoder down to Doha and then buy urself a dish and bingo ur all set to watch the complete entertainment as it happens at home.....
i for one feel its really worth it because it is really cost effective and plus u get to watch all your favourite channels....n y not when u have to pay 85 to 100 Riyals on the normal QCV Subscription monthly and pay 4 channels that they want you to watch.....hmph.....
