Cosmetic Surgery

I know that cosmetic surgery is not a new topic. It's been going on for ages lol. but i just want to know everyone's opinion and say on the social, cultural and even religious impact of cosmetic surgery. coz it's like becoming a norm nowadays. would you let your family member or friend go thru a cosmetic surgery just for vanity purpose?

P.S. I am not planning to have one lol. I am perfectly happy the way i am. :)

If you can fix something why not? As long as the person passes proper psych evals and doesnt have some underlying body dismorphia I see no harm in it. Also if the person has realistic expectations and is properly informed of all risks etc slice away :)

Its good to get the hymen surgery done....(after a lot of years of sex)....just in time for the wedding night.

The girl's hubby would be so happy!

i can only say that they are very brave to go under the knife. i saw one documentary about one lady getting breast implants and OMG...when she woke up from the surgery she was so out of this world and that's when the pain took toll and her face was indescribable. ouchhhhh!

I'm not against it per se, but wouldnt go under the knife myself, the pain dear the pain. But never say never, I might change my mind when Im older.

Iv heard of Asian women getting surgery on their eyelids to create a fold (so their eyes appear larger) and Africans getting nose jobs and you realise how "they" really dictate our lives and what ideal beauty is. WhoTF is "they" anyway?
