Common sense regarding pets

Sadly I just found out that this is the most tragic time of the year for many pets, with their owners going on holidays or leaving Qatar for good without their precious pets. Please, please, please think ahead before adopting a pet. Unless you’re going to take them abroad with you, or find them a good home before you leave, don’t consider adopting a pet as it’s cruel and inhumane. It’s the pets who suffer in the long run as there are limited options for them in Qatar once you leave. Remember that a pet is for life, they don't expire like a contract!

I agree with you 100%

At least it would stop the idiots buying animals that are not suited to their lifestyle. Like buying a pitbull when you have young kids. Or thinking that your 8 year old child is going to look after the animal!
