illegal my a$$... i'm just sussing out what there is on weekends, how close bahrain is, how close UAE is, costs, etc.

You need Visas to drive, they take a min. of 3 days (or so I hear). Also if your wife goes with you she will need to wear an abaya while driving through Saudi.

You can drive in 4 hours but u must go through saudi first..

Or fly, be carfull on the days tho because as gypsy sais, its 670 but sometimes it 980 depending on the days..

I fly on Qatar Airways, and it's a 25 minute flight for 670 QR.

With check in and stuff it takes about 2 hours.
