CID and the traffic department

So I went to get my car registered and they said that I had to violations. Not happy about it but I accepted that I did something wrong somewhere. One I could pay there and the other one had to be payed at CID. OK just another day in Doha. The guy who was doing all the running around for me said he would go there for an extra QR50. He went and then called me on my mobile and said I needed to show up tomorrow at 10:00 because the officer wanted to see me. So I have a couple of questions?
1. What is the CID? I've heard the expat rumors saying that they are the guys who will get you if you "slip up". I usually don't listen to rumors but I don't want to walk into a trap?
2. Where is CID located. I can't find it in the phone book or references to it online?
Thanks for any help
The short story is that they caught me driving on two wheels in a round-a-bout. Since neither me or my wife have the skills to do that we had to prove that a mistake was made. I put the whole story on my blog at:

Hayya ya Kuji!!
I thought I might have been a little paranoid. It's amazing how rumors can get started. I'll post back what the mystery summons was about tomorrow.
Go Grendizer!!!
You're not being trapped. If they want you for something you did wrong, they will come and get you from your house.
CID are plain clothes officers, or undercovers mainly concerned with interior security in the country. Drugs, prostitution, weapons, and general mischief. If you are not implicated in anything, you shouldn't worry. You'll find out why they want you when you get there. Relax.
The traffic CID is located in the Madinat Khalifa Traffic Department. Search for 'traffic' at http://dohamap.info for the exact location. They're on the second floor.
