Christian Benitez

I am sure most on here have now read the sad news about footballer Christian Benitez passing away yesterday morning.

What myself and many others would like to know, was his death linked to the match he played the night before bringing more publicity to the whole summer / winter World Cup debate?

Supercool, I guess you read into things what you want.

You only like people to agree with you, just live in your bubble.

A quick track of ur comment...I have to read at least 30 posts just to find ONE non derogatory comment...whether towards Qatar, or Qataris.

I cant see why someone would hate it sooooooooooo much here, does nothing to make it better, and does not leave...seriously I wonder

It's pretty sickening to read Rip's comments on a daily basis...the amount of hate spewed on here is mind boggling

The culmination of all of Rip’s comments go like this...."What!? Something bad happened? Then it's Qatar's fault" then the answer comes in from the other end "but sir that lady died of old age and she died in Japan"!!!

PATHETIC!!!

The news reports arent very positive or doesnt seem to be saying it was a normal death.

RC,, If he was +50 years old, the chances to save him is much better, but the heart attack at the age of 27 is very strong, and could kill immediately

27 is no age to go but I am surprised the hospital here could do nothing to save him. I guess we have to wait until the offical coroners report which in Qatar may never be released....

Rip Cord, did someone force you to fast? Further more he played only the last 10 minutes of the match as a substitute.

He had a heart attack - why not just leave it at that ?

We don't know the reason yet, maybe they forced him to fast and then play a game in this heat.
