car seat, seat belt, baby car seat and so on

What do u think the police should do to make these people aware the safety of their children?
Don't tell me they can't afford QR 500 car seat but they buy brand new landcruiser or other big cars.
Any suggestion what the police should do to make people aware the need of safety buckling up their kid/s???
there is a law that prohibits kids under the age of 10 years from sitting in the front seat but I have seen numerous kids sitting in the front, worst is mothers holding their little babies in the front seat.Doesnt make sense when the mother is wearing a seat belt but has not restraint for the infant other than her arms holding the baby in the embrace.
Hefty fines should be in place for such violations, and spot checkings should be carried out to put some fear into the people that they cant just do as they please.
most people are either ignorant of the rule or they just dont care.I can only pray that nothing disastrous happens with them, that will make them sit up, take notice and care in future.
Enact a law and enforce it.
Right now the law says children under 10 aren't allowed in the front.
Unfortunately it's all ignorance. Children 10 and under need either proper safety seats or booster seats and seat belts.
Maybe they should publicize figures, photos, etc of what happens to children in accidents.
What also worries me is the increase in car safety means more and more cars have side and head protection airbags in the rear. An exploding airbag next to a child can cause serious injury even when they're strapped in.
Car and airbag manufacturers recommend drivers keep their hands away from the center of the steering wheel during an accident and an airbag deploying.
Very difficult to do, me thinks.
