Cancer danger in using foil

The use of aluminium foil for wrapping meat
to be grilled or baked or for packing hot foods
can cause cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, the
vice-chairman of Qatar Cancer Society, Dr Abdul
Azeem Husain, has said in a statement to the local
Arabic daily Arrayah.
He said that when the foil interacts with heat, the
consequent chemical reaction is hazardous to
health.
The debate on the side eff ects of using the
aluminium foil came to the fore again when
participants at a regional medical seminar held
recently presented papers highlighting the
harmful effects of aluminium foil on human

This is quite strange, no nation I know have banned the use of foil for food wrapping, but Qatar want to be the first again.

Aluminium is not only used in foil shape, it is used for cooking pots for thousands of years.

Let the people who claim such things provide evidence, not speculations.
