Why a Jew can grow his beard in order to practice his faith

But when Muslim does the same, he is an extremist and terrorist!

Why a nun can be covered from head to toe in order to devote herself to God But when Muslimah does the same she's oppressed

When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself

But when a Muslim woman does so by her will, they say, "she needs to be liberated"!

Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her rights and freedom?

But when Muslimah wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her university!

When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential

But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless!

When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned,

but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!

When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him.

But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!

When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it

When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car .

But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!

Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.

But question what the Quran says!

The point was to pass on a food for thought around, i could have easily confronted the reply of my freind black prince on few accounts where he also seems to be under the same understanding as our brother / sisters in west. but i didin't as I only wanted to spread a word of concern and make every body think why? As long as the brain washing thing is concerned, it is the situation of the ground that retards your cognitive ability, where was the wisdom of our Christian brothers in both the dark ages, world wars and all the conflicts that the world is facing today. I am not at all advocating the reaction of our very few muslim brothers that is of violence as i am strictly against killing even a innocent ant without any reason let alone the God's best creation "Human". We also have to think independently and not be tainted by the yellow media who has an agenda to malign a certain nation and justify the acts of cruelty all over the world under the pretext of useless proxy war. Lets all resolve to unwind and try to absorb the truth and open our eyes to reality.

Zorder, you did not offend me at all, at present we have had on QL some people joining and trying to start a religious arguement using such formulated postings as yours. WE are all very careful now as we dont want to start a debate where hate and insults are swaped between sides.

I realise it is not easy to ask questions like yours without making them seemly look one sided and anti West. You are new and everybody deserves a chance to join and let us learn about him, as I say things have been very bad lately and we are all very sensitive to such postings.

Welcome and as you join in more we will find out who you are..........so be thoughtful and tolerant when posting please as it reflects on you

I really value your reply and wanted to incite an intelligent debate without offending anyone onboard, if i have done that unknowingly kindly accept my sincere regret. I wish everyone thinks that way and all of us should try our bit to improve the atmosphere and shun all the dividing views and factors. Dont be mislead and try to explore before u accept anything about a person, religion etc.

I am not a racist, i m fighting against it, niether do i believe in this crap, the point this question carries is how will we get away with the media maligning a particular sector / faith of this world without actually understanding it. If u guys believe the question is not based on facts and u dont agree with the contents its OK but refrain form giving personal remarks without knowing the person and actually understanding the debate. Look that your problem u guys jump to conclusions fast without any logical reason.

Zorder, I am going to answer you, as I feel that I normally ignore such posting as one sided trouble seeking posts but I do not wish to be unfair, intolerant to a possible fair qusetion.

Well here goes this is what I think, I will not get into a discussion of hate or insults with you over my answers as this is not my character.

Why a Jew can grow his beard in order to practice his faith

But when Muslim does the same, he is an extremist and terrorist!

The possible problem here is that due to global coverage in the world of some terrorist messages and videos, which show these extremists with beards that a conclusion can be made by some that terrorists have beards...whether right or wrong. That does not mean though that all people with beards are Muslim terrorists and most people dont see it that way to be honest.

Why a nun can be covered from head to toe in order to devote herself to God But when Muslimah does the same she's oppressed

Here a nun lives in an order with other nuns, she goes out in the world but actually does not live in it in the true sense, she is as you say covered but her attire is so that she with other nuns are all seen in the same light before god and to show that no materials differences exist between the nuns.

A Muslim lady wears her attire because she has been told to do so to protect her view from men, not to show her equalness to her god.

When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself

But when a Muslim woman does so by her will, they say, "she needs to be liberated"!

Not sure if the western woman is respected but then thats another discussion. It is not the point of if the woman is at home or not, the question is in what circumstances and restrictions apply on a woman when she is at home. It is so that the Western view is that many restrictions imposed on Muslim women are to western standards not fair but here again this is opinions and as we know they vary.

Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her rights and freedom?

But when Muslimah wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her university!

This depends on the university and how they view themselves, some universities believe they are there for learning and not for religious activities, for some they wish to keep the two things apart. Here of course normal cloths show no religious tendency where as you know the Hijab is just the opposite, it is a religious statement.

When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential

But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless!

This of course could have happened but a very rare case and probaly due a to a individuals attitude rather than a cultures

When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned,

but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!

Here is very simple other than extremely rare cases Christians and Jews do not kill people because of their religion, therefore its not mentioned.( here I refer to individuals not what states do) It is so that in the name of Islam acts of terror and murder are committed and afterwrds admitted to.....therefore when having done it in the name of Islam, the religion also comes into the crime because the purpretator of the crime did it in the name of a religion...which he readily tells everybody

Not sure what you are trying to say so cannot answer

When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it

The western world at present is studying the Islamic faith and learning what it has to say for better understanding, so this is not strickly true.

When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car .

But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!

This is not true at all everybody feels the following, a bad driver is a bad driver, whatever his colour, race or religion is and we all agree that they exist all over the world.

Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.

But question what the Quran says!

Everybody, both Christains and Muslims believe too much in what they read, here there is no difference, just wish our Journalist friends would be more accurate when they write there papers.....we all suffer from that.

Thank you for reading my thoughts, they are just that, my thoughts and if any of them should offend you then this was not intential, have a nice day

but unfortunately I have to close computer cos I'm moving house. Suffice to say I agree with siobhanhill when she/he says that you seem to have "mixed up views about what people think about Islam and muslims".

We are (I hope) all intelligent enough to know who are good people and who are bad people, no matter what race, creed, nationality, religion etc.

I can tell you why, the answer is that you obviously have a big fat chip on your shoulder and are quite blatantly pure racist. I would say you are anti western with mixed up views about what people think about Islam and muslims. A nasty horrible combination.......
