I luv to experience all modes of transport whether in the US the subway, or LRT/MRT in the Phil, Singapore, Thailand, Tuktuk in thailand, jeepney in Phil. Rickshaw in India.

Well to get to the point, I understand by the bus drivers here that the buses are used the most over the weekend. The buses from Industrial area are usually crowded and the buses in the city are ok or sometimes 3/4 empty.

The front 4 rows of seats are reserved for women and if they are not, you can request the driver and he will make them empty.

All the best.

Trust me you will not want to take the bus. Just get taxis, they are not very expensive.

Dip club ok but I would recommend the Intercon. Dip club too crowded these days and it is next to one of the world's largest building sites (The Pearl development)

well, i hope so because i'm a shopaholic! and i know that they've got a lot of branded stuf there, but i'm not rally a fan of designer labels, i'm for style and comfort at a reasonable price.

well, actually, i'm not there yet, I'll be there towards the end of September or at the latest, first week of October. I'll be with the Intercon, that's why I was asking about these malls that are nearest to me, cause I want to make sure I'll be able to get around using public transportation, since I don't have a license to drive around the city just yet.

Thanks for the info, at least I know not to get on the wrong bus. I look forward to being there for the asian games, I'm a sports enthusiast as you may have read in my profile.

is that squash the vegetable, or the racket sport?

right angel, there are buses available to ferry you on both malls. if a'm not mistaken you have to catch bus numbers 49, 94, 33 to take you to directly at the front doors of city center and bus number 65 (i'm not sure) to landmark though you still have to walk some distances to get there. by the way, where did you work? it would be nice to meet you! (don't worry i mean good!).

As I drive AROUND to both locations, they seem closer in a straight line, hence the comment about walking distance. :)

Also, comment about bus service to various Malls compared to these two locations which are very close.

hardly walking distance that is!!

i'd be ok if there were building between them or something and during cooler times but not not walking distance probably 3 kms away. Maybe swiming distance though :)

The fare starts at Qrs. 2.00

Hope this helps.
