Burger King Fan Changes Name To 'Bacon Double Cheeseburger' By Official Deed Poll
A burger enthusiast has officially changed his name to 'Bacon Double Cheeseburger' by deed poll.
Formerly Simon Smith, the 33-year-old man decided he fancied a change and his usual Burger King order was the first thing that popped his head.
"A name is the least important part of your personality," Bacon Double Cheeseburger told The Sunday People. "It’s given to you by someone else."
While Bacon is happy with his choice, fiancée Isabella is refusing to become Mrs Double Cheeseburger so plans to keep her own surname.
Bacon Double Cheeseburger is just one of the 85,000 Brits who legally changed their names in 2015.
Other odd highlights included a married couple who changed their last names to "Amazing" and one woman who donned the moniker of 'Wacky Races' character Penelope Pitstop.
