Quite amazing really..

It sits in Yale's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. It is a 15th-century manuscript is written in a language that has baffled every expert.

It has intrigued and frustrated anthropologists, linguists and mathematicians for centuries - even the elite cryptologists at the US National Security Agency drew a blank, after they spent years trying to decode it in the 1950s.

So. Is the Voynich Manuscript a brilliant piece of work or a hoax ?

What say you ?

Reminds me of an autistic boy I knew who wrote and spoke his own language and would spend hours drawing amazing things, especially stuff based on Disney's Aladdin. Now he was 7 and his language was pretty spectacular, I can't imagine what it's evolved into 15 years later.

Also apprantely this ability, while rare, is not unheard of among autistics (isiot savants) and in the 15 century children like this were often viewed as touched by God and often given to monastery's were he or she would have had access to paper....
