To overcome stage fear...just walk into the Dias...take a look at all the audience and imagine that they are all without their clothes on.

You will laugh at the way how those front benchers look like. This relaxes me and I do it everytime I give a speech. It works for me.

All the best !

Choose a topic that you are confident at. The audience will always know if you really know your topic or not.

It's called stage fright. What type of speech are you going to deliver? There are different attacks to be able to deliver a speech confidently. Choose a good opening that would interest them. You have to catch the attention of your audience within the first 2 minutes of your speech. If you succeed, you will feel confident to continue and make a connection with the audience.

you were given that task and for that it means they believe in you, that you can do it.

do not forget to pray first and ask the Lord's guidance as you go with your speech.

God bless you! =)

Thats even better,, write it in ur own simple yet effective words, to the point. All u need to do is talk on the subject, act normal like u talk to ur friends.. the more relax u r the better u'll perform :)

and always remember U r the 1, the smartest of them all and the ppl in front are stupid (with all due respect to all, sorry if am offending any1) actually thats how i used to prepare myself

Good Luck 2 U..

you'll do splendidly...

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

be as prepared as you can be....do what mr listener said and look at the wall behind everyone...not into their faces...keep good notes with wide spaces in between lines, so you don't lose your place when speaking..and BREATHE....

Remember...you are the one delivering the information...you were chosen, not just stuck there to fill space...its a priviledge and consider it as such.

You will be fine...

Hey, dont worry u'll do just fine.. just concentrate on ur speech and look straight to wall in front of the hall.. and just imagine as if nobody is there..

hope that would help u too as it helped me when i used to be on the stage college/concerts etc.

Good Luck 2 U again and make every1 proud of u!!

Start with a joke and then tell them something they don't understand. They will think you are great!
