Following recent events focused on iOS, the iPhone and the iPod and iTunes, Apple's next media event will shift its focus "Back to the Mac."The event will be held on October 20, 2010 in Cupertino. As you can see from the invitation, not only does it look like new laptops might be announced at the event (hence the aluminum looking facade), but we might just get a preview of the next version of Mac OS X.See that lion peaking out from behind the Apple logo? For the non-Mac users among us, that actually fits with the going-on 10-year motif in Apple's OS naming structure. Here are the code names for Mac OS X from OS X 10.0 to the present:
Mac OS X 10.0: Cheetah
Mac OS X 10.1: Puma
Mac OS X 10.2: Jaguar
Mac OS X 10.3: Panther
Mac OS X 10.4: Tiger
Mac OS X 10.5: Leopard
Mac OS X 10.6: Snow Leopard
Could Mac OS X 10.7 Lion be part of the upcoming announcement? We'll have to wait until October 20 to find out. What do you hope to see from Apple at a Mac-centric event?
@mashable
Question:

2-when was the last time you restarted your computer?

How about you guys
I have been using Windows for more than 20 years (Windows 95, 98, XP and Windows 7)and I never experienced any major problems which the mac lovers are poiniting out. I did not use Vista as I was so friendly with XP.
There are more softwares and more applications available for the PC format than for MAC. So that's another concern I would have about changing.
I tried Mac but I was not feeling comfortable with it. May be I am addicted to Windows but still I prefer Windows.
wahahahaha... funny all these companies use some names.... :)
all my life i had used windows from 98 to windows 7 but when i started testing mac in our department i would say i had never seen anything like it the screen and i have experienced that it doesnt hang like windows vista. It was an amazing machine good for photoshop and other graphical softwares. i am a great fan of apple inc especially the ipod touch and offcourse the iphone.
