The award winning musical, CATS, is coming to play in Doha for the first time ever
CATS, the fourth longest running Broadway and West End musical ever, is all set to mesmerize and amaze audiences in Doha.
Performed all over the world, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical that’s based on “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” written by T.S. Eliot, is coming to Doha from February 1 to February 4, 2017 at the Qatar National Convention Center Theater.
Winner of seven Tony awards and two Grammys, CATS is a musical, magical, timeless and one-of-a-kind show all about the Jellicle cats and each individual cat’s solo pursuit to be chosen as the blessed cat that will rise up and be part of the ‘Heaviside Layer’.
CATS has been translated into 20 languages and watched by audiences in more than 300 cities all over the world in packed theaters. It is a wonderful blend of superbly choreographed dance sequences, songs that will have you tapping your feet and humming long after you leave the theatre and dialogues that will keep you riveted to your seats.
