wow man.. My friend is already in Final. I just got the News last night that he Beat Ravid....Smokey my friend who was the last minute entry got in to the finals ;)

Indeed what a Thriller last evening...was a great sight to see...

missed out on the first game due to some work...but got there just in time to watch the ending...

And as far as the second match...Vicky...why do I feel that AFTER ALL THE ENTIRE MATCH, the PRIZE DISTRIBUTION was something you were MORE INTERESTED IN!!! LOL!

Overall, a great game by BOTH the players...fortunes swinging from this end to that, Lady luck jumping from one end to the other before you even realize it...end of it all, One person made it through Adams.apple...both players showed very good skill, technique and variety of shots...it was a real pleasure / treat to the eyes to watch both these cool players battle it out to represent THE DEMONS in the final...!

And Now it is down to just ONE MORE GAME to decide, whether the good will prevail over the bad, whether the light will throw away the Darkness ...

Thank You everybody for all the kind words. Vicky bhai will send you the pic dont worry, good playing and it was always exciting to watch. Yesterday Aftab was at his best trashing Rawid left, right and center. Each win carried 1 point. In total Aftab got 7 points and Rawid 2. where as in the match between Vicky and Adams it was almost anyone's game with Vicky finishing with 6 points and good luck adams with 9.

I wanted to make the game exciting and different from what all players are normally used to playing. Anyone can come to the table and play race to 3, 5, 10, 20. But a good player keeps his calm under any circumstance and pressure. I'm happy you guys enjoyed playing this new style as i myself have to play it to know how it feels :)

Congrats once again to Aftab and Adams.apple.

If you thought semi finals were exciting wait till you see what i have planned for the finals..its going to BLOW YOUR MIND! Stay tuned.

Smoke speed can not come today as he can not show his face to all because yesteday HOME Ministry took some serious action:P

Speed dont worry we'll have another tournament but it will be well organized and properly dealt with. This tournament was my first ever experience so mistakes are bound to happen. It was originally planned for only QL members but some outsiders added good competition to the tournament.

Thanks to all those that took part in this to make it a success, and for being very understanding. Esp. Speed and Aftab.azam who waited patiently for their matches without complaining. We are still Kids and need your guidance all the way.

A special morning to all the winners of last evening and a very very good and humid morning to all the members of the very Elite Looser Club... :p

Indeed, it was a fantastic round last night at Hot Shots... we had a lot and I mean a LOT going on in almost every right corner of Hot Shots... :)

We not only had the Round of 16 match of Adams.apple Vs Ravid that was postponed from earlier to yesterday but also had a quick fire elimination round to take the ONLY SPOT in the tournament...

And ofcourse one cannot forget the Quarter-final Round matches played...

For the very first time, I actually saw over very beloved Chupa rustom Speed get beaten at a game that I or one would think he EXCELS at...a very fine display of skills, thinking, and sportsmanship overall were the ingrediants for Adams.apple to win over Speed, cos when you are facing the BEST out there, you've got to be atleast 1 step ahead of THAT BEST! Overall, Speed and Adams great show guys and good game...we learn a lot from the way you're playing!

Another terrific match...Smoke Vs Aftab...

Ouchhhh, the Kat's caught his tongue...one might think so, but HELL NO, The KAT almost KUT Aftab's tail...an excellent display of skill again where Smoke, I've to say at this point being your arch-rival over the past YEAR of our relationship... :p on the pool table, you've exceptionally improved in your game, quality of shots and technique overall...and you certainly did look like you were going, going ... and in the end ooops you were actually GONE... :p On a serious note, Aftab crawled back into the match with composure and Smoke slipped a touch...but again, overall a lovely treat to the eyes to be watching such a close CONTEST...both really good players and I still cant believe a few shots played by Smoke!

A few other matches being played for Ravid's spot...wasnt given away easily to anyone...and in the end it was Ravid who fought back into the tournament and actually ended up making it to the Semis by beating our very own Aftab.azam...tough luck brother, but heard you too gave a run for the money...!

Yesterday we played long and hard, but today we'll play longer. Aftab bhai like i said not good to have only good skills but good luck too. We both were not lucky yesterday, but we gave our opponents one hell of a time. I'm sure they were sh*ting bricks :P We are too good! Anyways congrats to all those that made it to the next round.

Speed bhai what happened yaar? I was looking fwd to see you and aftab play at the finals. But if your free tonight and Aftab if your free tonight then be there at hotshots and lets all have a few games together, no pressure only fun :)

I cant wait to watch tonight's matches as these are the best of the best players to make it this far, through all the pressure and they are oozing good luck.

Tonight's match Aftab Vs Ravid: Aftab, simple quiet guy his started out in the tournament right from day 1. He was a last min. entry as we needed 32 players to kick start the tournament. Congrats to him for coming this far in the tournament. Smoke played against him last night and I was leading by 2 - 0 in a Race to 3 match, but he fought back really hard and deserved the victory in the end.

Ravid: Oh man this guy has some luck on his side. The match between Ravid and Adams.apple was postponed to yesterday and Ravid was eliminated, however he jumped right back into the action when we had our selection for Rifaz's spot. Great match between him and Aftab.azam. Very nail biting situation and Aftab.azam also had a 2-0 lead on Ravid but luck favors the brave and Ravid kept his cool and played some seriously amazing eyes popping out shots and won 3 games in a row. The amount of pressure it puts on a player to win 3 games in a row at such a stage is unthinkable. A victory well deserved indeed.

Tonight's match Adams.apple Vs Vicky: Adams.apple is one cool headed son of a biatch! Amazing accuracy and pool skills willing to teach you as long as u buy him a cup of tea :)

Adams story seems to be rather a strange one. From the beginning he played against our beautiful Xena and thought everyone in the tournament would be easily beaten, but tough luck he got kicked out of the tournament in the round of 16 against Rifaz, that was played on the same day as the first elimination round. Adams was given a second life when we made Bakamuna and him play it out for a slot that was open in the demon's team (rMs) and oh my GOD he was trashing baka left, right and center...and has not looked back ever since. Cant wait for his match tonight. OMG my heart is pounding just thinking about it.

Vicky: There's nothing much to say about this guy....no seriously there is NOTHING to say about him. He comes, he waits like a predator for his prey and wipes the floor with his opponents. He has gone un noticed through out the whole tournament that i have yet to see his game. Just like adams.apple he is cool and calm, happy go lucky who isnt bothered about who he play as long as he plays. His match with Adams is going to be a match you dont want to miss out on tonight. Anything can happen, both are equally matched in skills. May the best man win.

Razzak read what i wrote on page 1, i knew someone would bring out the issue that more players means more money. However you guys are not taking into account the TIME that was taken on the first day/second day elimination went over what i expected it to be. Plus we did play 2 games that were race to 5 between Speed/Bakamuna and Rifaz/Adams.apple on same day of the first elimination. Time is money my friend :P

well done guys and hard luck for the guys who lost out yesterday...we will get in for the next tourney...speed,aftab smoke seems like you guys showed some good work...bad luck ksa...as lously said you need to appreciate your good luck charm :)

Speed Problem is since it was my mistake, i didnt want any problems it was my mistake after all. But at the end of it even the race to 5 was a fair and square match and it could have gone in favor of either player as they already had a race to 5 game in their mind. Since both players didnt know it was race to 3 it was not fair to stop the game just coz Chaudary won 3 games after we told him that. So i let them continue. I hope both players do not hold this against me. and YES there is going to be a big TWIST tonight. Stay tuned. :)

Most of the games were very close. But some just lost by not having their day. According to the rules used yesterday I won my match but their was some misunderstanding between us that the match is race to 9 but actually all matches were race to 3. Hani dear race to 3 I won but race to 4 was in your favour:(

Good morning everyone. That was some good matches played last night. Congrats to all that got through to the next round. I'd like to clear a few things up before i list the names of the next round players

1. A lot of players were confused yesterday about if the game was a race to 3 or race to 5. I know it is MY FAULT for not informing everyone prior to the start of the game and i apologize for it. So you will ask then why was it made race to 3 instead of race to 5? Well my original design of the tournament was meant for 24 players, but we ended up with 32 players. The tournament budget that i set out was originally designed for 24 players, with a approx per hour rate for each round. We seem to be exceeding that time limit on every round coz we have more players, also i see a lot of time is being wasted when the match is on. I want to finish up with the rounds as quickly as possible so we can have a good long Final round between TWO players.

2. I have NOT budgeted "practice/warm up" games in this tournament. For every round i have booked tables under my name, but when i get to the venue i see some players playing on those tables prior to the start of the match. Kindly note that if you are a tournament player your practice games are NOT going to be covered in the tournament fees. Food & drinks are not covered in the tournament fees either. So a humble request to everyone is if you take a table for practice or warm up game please clear your bill before the tournament starts.

3. I've noticed some players coming with friends who ALSO try to sneak in a few games on our tournament booked tables, which is NOT allowed.Yesterday i had an argument with Hotshots as they were charging me for people who i dont even know. If your friends are coming with you to watch the game then by all means i dont mind. But please tell them to play on some other table. Hotshots do not know who are our tournament players and when your friends keep playing on our booked tables, I have to pay for them.

4. A word of advice and something you all should know that when taking tables for warm up please inform the receptionist that u want to play for a certain TIME, half hour, 1 hour etc and DO NOT TAKE OPEN TABLE. I learnt that Open table means even if you play for 17 mins they will charge u for the complete half hour or 1 hour, which is bullcrap!

In the next rounds i'm going to have all tables open for 1 hour first, if the games are still going i'll restart the table for another half hour. So atleast i know how much time is taken on each table. So dont worry take your time, relax and play a good game.

I'm really sorry to anyone if i seem to be rude but thats just the way it is. I know the tension is getting tighter now that the finals are coming closer but i'd appreciate all the co-operation from every participant. Thank You :)

Oh and the most imp. thing...i havent had my coffee yet so till then you will just have to wait to see who qualified for the next round :P

On another note, what an exciting match it was after all...absolute display of some fine technique, amazing skills by both players, but in the end, it was upto the person who would show strength of skill...and it was Adams.apple...honestly speaking in all fairness, he did outclass the hard-fighting Bakamuna for that spot in the Round of 16...nevertheless Baka showed sheer class as well but as Smoke said, he was not at his Best and missed a few easy ones...but o well, better luck next time Baka buddy...and Adams.apple...you're now the newest member of the Demons to face off in the Round of 16...

Alright the Kat is here...wow what a evening it was, both players were sweating through their arse's for the slot lol! They were not only racing against each other but they had to race against the clock lol.

Finally we all got to see the much talked about skills of Adams.apple. He was calm and didn't let anything distract him. Speed played a good game against Bakamuna. I was waching the full match (being reffree in that match). Both played really well . The game was going 1-1,2-2,3-3 etc..
