AlMarai products gone from Carrefour?
I went shopping to Carrefour and I couldn't find any of the Al Marai products. I actually like this brand the most, when it comes to juices, milk, yoghurts...but I couldn't find any of them in there anymore.
Anyone has any idea what happened? Why Carrefour doesn't have them anymore?
so that's it! i was looking for almarai cheese for my nephew for 2 weeks now. i kept on coming back to carrefour thinking that its only out of stock. not knowing, even if i come back everyday, i wouldnt find coz its not only the cheese but all almarai products.

our company gives al marai milk to the labourers and we didnt get them for like a couple of days...reliable sources tell me their cows went on strike. but hey the milk is flowing again so should be available in markets now.

I love Al Marai products especially fresh milk it helps me gain some weights
Besides, their apple juices are made of apples from Poland
so how could i not like it?

lamea, that never happened to me and i am buying that milk since 4 years...
maybe he/she bought it from some place that kept it too long and it just got expired or it was in the heat...u never know.
it doesn't mean the products was bad, maybe it was just sold from a bad shop?
yeah, i can find it in other places, like FFC for example.
i don't think they were not making enough profit, either. after all, i would say that this is the best-selling dairy company in Qatar and i am really satisfied with their quality. at least so far!

Ït's been more than a couple of months now I guess Carreour no longer bear Al Marai Products. Everytime I go to dairy products no Al Marai products available. I thought there was something wrong with the brand itself but thankfully, other supermarkets and local stores has it.

I bet Carrefeur doesn't make enough profit off Marai so they sell an inferior product that they can make more money off of. Thank god its available elesewhere.

i did find it in other shops and malls, just i was really surprised not to find it there...it actually poiled my shoping then, coz half of my list were not available

But like I said with other brands (though maybe with not as WIDE a range of products) they have gone missing for a LONG time then suddenly showed up....so we are forced to do the stockpiling thing when they ARE available LOL...sad, but this is how its done here if you want to ensure you don't run out of the brands you like.
The best advice I can give you is ask to speak to a manager (in the admininstration department, not just a floor section manager in the store) next time you are there, and inquire about the brand specifically. And IF for some reason they did stop carrying it, you should be able to find them in other stores (unless the whole country decides to ban them for whatever reason).

Ragnarock, i know what u mean, but it is just weird that all the products from this brand were suddenly not available... so i don't think it was the issue of stocking up. and as Fembot said, they won't say why those products are no longer available.

As a result many brands sometimes appear like they've been removed completely until they get around to restocking them.....which takes WAY too long for some reason.
If there's something specific I need, I usually check out Giant or Family Food Center, and most of the time one of them will have it.

Don't know. the last time i went there they told me they had the almarai products removed...wouldn't tell me why...so i'll just make it up... the managers got into a fight
