I don't agree with nude pictures on QL, and if MR. P posted them then he was right to get banned. However I never saw the pictures so I can't comment.

My comment to Eco was after she said she doesn't have to watch her children because they are believers. Which reminded me of several parents I knew who's children, that they didn't have to watch cause they were good God fearing kids, came home addicted to drugs or pregnant as teenagers.

Who cares? for sure he's back already with another account. and laughing at all of you. :P

I'd like to restate a post I had made on one of Mr Paul's threads

The media is fuelling a growing bias against Muslims, and there is a vilification of Muslims in popular media

To illustrate, we all know of the Austrian man who locked up his daughter in the dungeon and abused her. He happened to a church going Catholic. However, if the media were to project this as the actions of a Chritian man and focus on his beliefs rather than his actions, it would give a skewed perception of the issue

'Kid throws stone at dog' may not get too many people interested... But if the same article were titled 'MUSLIM kid throws stone at poor dog'... well... you get the picture...

Unfortunately, the tabloids make a killing with this kind of negative reporting... but why blame the media?... negative journalism is encouraged by readers who have a penchant for this kind of TRASH

Mr Paul unfortunately loves this trash and actually thrives on it. Not only does he take pleasure in this kind of reporting, he insists on digging it up and sharing it people on QL

Particularly, he takes great pleasure in quoting articles which ridicule Islam and Muslims...

I'm just stating an opinion.

It's always the allegation of folks here that when a few disagree against one's views/opinions, it'll be branded as "supporters" or "groupie".

Whatever tiff PM and Eco-Savvy has, it's within the forum. I do understand that some do find it offensive and take it to heart when others make comments about one's religion.

Reminds me of 'the TOWER OF BABEL': EVERYONE is saying the same thing but can't or WON'T (EVEN TRY) understand each other because of the (different) language they speak...quite ironic.

Seems, a gang is being formed to target EcoSavvy on QL.

People can slander on religion, thats ok for them, but if believers like Eco defend their faith, these same people call the defenders as Hate Spreaders when it is pretty much clear who spreads hate and what tolerance level people have for the state religion here.

Anyway, back to the topic in hand. I saw a comment from MR PAUL featuring an inappropriate picture and very-inappropriate caption. I imagine that was the cause of his downfall.

Personally, when it comes to warning/banning members I don't think it should make any difference if you are a long-time QLer or not. The rules should apply to everyone equally.

Having said that, I can kind of understand why the mods are more likely to ban a day old user who comes on here f-ing and blinding, while a more established user may get away with a polite warning (which I know from experience the mods send out via PM when you step out of line!).

I have a serious question here.

There are other language forms here too. So if somebody swears too much in other language forums like Tamil, Hindi,Czech,Tagalog etc. and say objectionable things, how will the mods control that?

Then the Mods will need to know all the languages used in QL. Otherwise it is unfair to Mr. P and all the english language speakers.

I have been following this so called ql vets and he is one of the rudest member here. just as well he mets the criteria to be banned my MODs. May he relax in peace :O

It has nothing to do with pleasing anyone here in QL. Knowing Mr Paul, he speaks his mind and have no qualms about it.

I see new QL members who are verbally abusive in using expletive (sp) language in the forum compared to him when it comes to discussing/debating sensitive/controversial topics.

I think the MODS got a little bit carried away for banning a QL veteran such as Mr Paul. He is still amongst the first QLer who made a mark here in QL along side with Xena, Gypsy, Novita, KellyHeroes, Alexa, spicemom, etc.

He still is the MANAGER of the QL British Group, if I'm not mistaken.
