abusayaf in the Philippines

I have been accused of the following: "you're like abusayaf in the Philippines"

Is this good or bad?

I need to know if I should thank, or comeback with a retort to the poster.

Abusayyaf was build up by the Phil. Govt., it is a Govt. propaganda to create chaos in the region...it has nothing to do w/ their religion. It is mainly politics. Members are "bunch of stupid" illiterates who knows nothing of their religion. When u are rooted from that place you will certainly know what am saying. A notorious Abusayyaf leader who was seen by civilians to freely get in and out of the military brigade-what do you called it?... The real anti-govt rebels from Mindanao are MILF and MNLF...and nothing else. Politics are full of lies and propagandas that are supported by the media.

There was no smiley at the end in OP.. I guess thats why it was taken seriously. I myself have been accused of being like them, thats why I stopped supporting a goatie on my face.

I would say "one mans terrorist is another mans Freedom fighter"

Calm down everyone... I don't believe for one moment this was an attack on me. And even if it was I would't care. The poster is innocent, and was being witty. My post he was replying on was equally tasteless ;)

It was said in good humor because there was a smiley at the end, and it was in response to one of my typically stupid posts.

"nyahahahahaha---timebandit..you're like abusayaf in the philippines. :)"

I just didn't know what or who abusayaf was. Now that I know, I wish I had kept my gob shut.
