4. Family Concert: Nour, A Girl of the Desert(February 24, 2017)

Nour is an artistic project directed by Svetlana Schmitz and MAias Alyamani. The music, composed by MAias Alyamani, will be performed by MAias and other musicians of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. Svetlana Schmitz of ACTory wrote the story. Together with Tamara Schaefer of ACTory she will perform with costumes and sets. The performance will be accompanied by Christoph Schmitz as narrator. MAias’ music uses Qatari-oriental melodies to celebrate Qatari identity, interacting with the audience in a playful manner.
