Brit actually I am really confused right now.. part of me does want to go for another degree, part of me wants to accept a job offer which sounds really lucrative right now, part of me just wants to pack my bags and head home and part of me just wants to be lazy and stay in Qatar :-P

Let's see what happens, will depend on my unpredictable mood swings :)

Well, I could suggest that they come to India because they either cannot afford a US school or cannot obtain admission or a visa! I'm not saying India doesn't have good schools, I'm just saying that usually the US is preferred. Unfortunately as well, with the exception of two schools in Turkey and one in Egypt, the Middle East is not represented.

The funny things is that many Nobel Prize winners studied at unknown or small universities. So, it really doesn't matter if you're really good. You can even do it at home.

saeed if you see the basis on which they rank the schools then you won't be surprised.

I guess that the ranking agency, Times Higher Education didn't agree, saeed. Even the regional rankings for Asia do not include any schools in India. Too bad.
