Chinese workers build 15-story hotel in just six days

A construction crew in the south-central Chinese city of Changsha has completed a 15-story hotel in just six days.

Six days. That’s how long it took to build this level 9 Earthquake-resistant, sound-proofed, thermal-insulated 15-story hotel in Changsha, complete with everything, from the cabling to three-pane windows. The foundations were already built, but it’s just impressive.

Despite the frenetic pace of construction, no workers were injured — and thanks to the prefab nature of the process, the builders wasted very few construction materials.

Below is a time-lapse video that shows the hotel being built from the ground up in less than a week:

I find a lot of good Chinese stuff to be very good quality. Do not stereotype all things made in China. Think about their great wall!

it would be technically wrong to say they did it in 6 days. in the precast method of construction, the modules are made in the casting yard and only assembled at site. ECC in india constructed a stadium in chennai in about 6 months some years back.

having said that, it takes immaculate planning and zero procurement time to achieve such a feat..

i dont think they have included the time of making the foundation and the plinth in these 6 days..

This is yet another case of why China is such a p0werful nation.......nothing is impossible. It makes one wonder how do one really classify developed and developing nations?
