Qatar's largest mosque

Qatar's largest mosque will be opened early next year in the Khuwair area in Doha. The mosque has a total built-up area of about 19,550 square metres on three levels with a land area of 175,000 square metres, and incorporates traditional Islamic architectural elements. It can accommodate 10,000 worshippers at a time, will replace the Spiral Mosque as the biggest in the country.
