Prime Minister to inaugurate Qatar Motor Show 2015
Qatar Living is proud to announce that it will be a media partner for the 5th edition of the Qatar Motor Show, one of the biggest automobile showcasing events in the region.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani will officially inaugurate Qatar Motor Show 2015 tomorrow at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
"The presence of the Premier, who will officially inaugurate the fifth edition, is a testimony to the gravitas of the annual event.
"The show is not only an event of great importance to the international and regional automobile industry, but also in enhancing Doha's position as a MICE destination," said Ibrahim Abdullah Al Malki, Chief Enterprise Officer, q.media.
The show will open to the public on Friday and runs until February 10. It will be co-hosted by Qatar Tourism Authority, q.mediaevents, and Fira de Barcelona.
This year, the stage is set for a high-octane ambience. Recently added to the reveals are French brand Bugatti, Japanese brands Suzuki and Honda and American brand Chevrolet.
Bugatti will present the iconic Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, the fastest production car at show. The brilliant piece of automobile technology has stunned the world since July 2010 with a record speed of 431.072kph, making it the fastest supercar in the world.
The fourth generation of Honda's 2015 CR-V will also be on display. It is of particular significance for the Middle East as its exterior has been designed to meet the requirements and demands of customers from the region.
Suzuki fans are also in for a treat with the Japanese giant unveiling its Middle Eastern market collection, including Ciaz, Alto K10 and Ertiga.
American automobile brand Chevrolet will reveal three new cars — Tahoe Z71, Corvette Z06 and Silverado Reaper.
In the past few weeks, brands like Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Harley-Davidson have revealed their line-ups and model launches for the region.
Participating automobile and motorbikes brands also include Husqvarna, Harley-Davidson, Mitsubishi, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Maserati, Land Rover, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Bentley, Renault, Infiniti, Lexus, Suzuki, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Honda, GAC, Toyota, Nissan, Nimrod, Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Vespa, BMW Motorrad, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Sand X, Aprilia, Piaggio, Gilera, Arctic Cat, and Cadillac.
Participating automobile accessories brands are Off Road Experience, Titanium, Castrol Oils, and Continental tyres.
