Ooredoo launches promotion for new Hala customers
Ooredoo has launched yesterday a promotion that offers three months free subscription to the Hala International Saver Key for all customers buying a new Hala SIM card in Qatar.
The offer was launched to unlock the “incredible rates” available with the International Saver Key for new Hala users in Qatar.
With the International Saver Key, customers can take advantage of calling rates of just 10Dhs per minute to all local Ooredoo numbers and 45Dhs per minute to 121 countries on Qatar’s biggest and fastest network.
On top of these rates new Hala SIM users will get a bundle of preloaded 250 local call minutes to call Ooredoo numbers and 250MB mobile data for just QR25.
The promotion, which runs until March 31, 2015, will offer users the chance to stay connected both locally and with friends and family overseas for less.
Once the SIM card is activated, the 250 local Ooredoo minutes and data will be valid for seven days. After this period, users will need to add credit to their account to keep the SIM card activated.
The International Saver Key free subscription will be valid for three months from the date of activation. After three months new Hala users will be charged only QR1 per week.
To activate the International Saver Key for free, customers must type “ISK” and send the SMS to 121. The key will renew automatically every week so customers can continue to save.
Among the countries covered by the key are popular call destinations such as India, Egypt, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Pakistan, UK, US, Philippines, and South Africa. A full list of countries can be viewed at Ooredoo
