Ajayan...you expressed what you feel...but thats not necessarily the case..

Qatar is investing a fraction in the UK...not big money like you mentioned...

and talking muslim country is so not appropriate...if it were to be taken from that angle then let Qatar invest in other muslim countries...but it is purely political and economical...not religious.

lets see

a major money problems its even (a bigger problem) and every body is losing money and the economy is shrinking and a lot of people are""""" losing there jobs"""""""

at this time Qatar invest in UK and they help people and government without even making profit of it but I would say losing it coz we are still at the beginning stag

will a fell that Qatar is becoming Santa of UK

ajayan - I find it hard to see how the news reports you posted would make me change the way I feel about Qatar, and even harder to see how it would affect my views of a Muslim country. So Qatar is investing in things. So what? They've been doing it for years, this is hardly breaking news. And what has it got to do with them being a Muslim country?

Hence my confusion over the question you posed at the end of the post.

I do feel Qatar changing...positive and negative.

It seems to me the negative overwhelms the positive sometimes.

Qatar is a very firm Muslim country so dont worry when it loosens up a little for foreigner and the world.

Pay attentions to Qatars actions in politics...its give some take some.

though i fail to make the connection between Islam and investments of Qatar in your post.

Come on ajayan - I think you need to explain yourself. No one seems to understand the link between the stories and your comment at the end!

Some deals for multi millions of dollars that I was not personally involved in does not make me feel any different about Qatar.

You also forgot to mention the 1.5 billion dollars the QIA wrote off in the Four Seasons group in the UK when they forced the company into bankruptcy.

This has sod all to do with religion. Qatar being a rich country and investing outside, yes, but about being Muslim, not really.

Did you Google it first?
