...The violence against Muslims has been mounting since 9/11. I'm expecting more bullying and rejection.

The largest Hindu temple is in Angkor Wat Cambodia.

The hindu temple at Bali is also big. Besides there are lots of hindu temples in Nepal. So India isn't the only place where there are big hindu temples.

UK is probably safest place for Muslims and any other religion for that matter. The UK has a large number of Mosques, Gurdawaras, Synagogues and the second largest Hindu Temple outside India.

More Muslims are killed and abused by fellow Muslims in their own countries than in the UK.

Where are the Hindu temples then? I see many mosques in the UK as well as temples and churches of many faiths.

What about the christians that are persecuted in Indonesia? I believe that is a Muslim country.

For every case you can make my friend, others can also give examples of Muslim intolereance

UK is one of the most progressive countries in the world in terms of equal opportunities and diversity. Probably nowhere else in the world you will see so many initiatives to tackle discrimination in every form and shape. Yes, it's not perfect, but we're trying. So... muslims are just safe as other nationalities

normal extremists, which also have rights to exist, in normal democratic country. I am sure, as per law, they got a permition for this demonstration in advance, everything is going under police's control. those who overstep the limit get arrested... everything is normal..

I would say they are as much as if there was a sudden large immigration of Christians.

Most Muslims are perfectly normal, and the Muslim religion advocates peace, justice and charity at least as much as Christianity does.

The media talks a lot about fundamentalist Muslims, and this gives the impression that they all are.

There are fundamentalists among Christians too, and many non-Christians believe that all of them are.

It is really a question of perception.

Most immigrants tend to stay in large cities, and this gives the impression that they are - let's say - TOO many to those who also live there.

Human migration always existed, but travelling being much easier and cheaper nowadays, people tend to migrate from much further away.

The UK is one of the best places for Muslims in Europe , the more East you go the worse it gets. I speak out of personal experience. Of course there are many factors involved like unemployment and education among far right groups, but generally speaking the UK is better than France and Germany. If you are really curious about skinheads, go to Russia :)
