Say NO to your manager...Be a Man
When can people stop acting badly and can not say NO to wrong things just because to save their jobs and earning some dollars... Be good man one time in your life..leave it...no dirty money..just be a human first...i hate professional career without a human being, just because ignorance we called managers...shame on this layer of people, shame on these kind of organization...shame on this working environment.I never change my self and ready to tell you this whenever we meet.
i need to publish some notes regarding this kind of behaviors in so many work conditions and organization, unfortunately this behavior is mostly found in the educated and professional layer..good luck for every body in this life, any way my parents never educate me to act like them, just be better than them if possible if not i will leave it...shame on them
My manager got to work this morning at 9.53 am and he was more interested in discussing and talking about the cricket match that took place last evening rather then the work ahead for the day and that was till the time came for the tea break
Managers out here are more like donkeys. Just like Good Old Joe said... They use this excuses of recesioon, etc to remove people they cannot get along with or seniors who know more of the work then they do and then later on fill the organization with their relatives, brothers, brothers in law and country men who perhaps help the manager in the personal enrichment process and to safeguard his seat

Correct, These are the people who got paid & brought in the recession and now telling that recession is here they are still getting paid ..
Most of the managers out here are just clowns and jokers who have very little idea of their job responsibilities and have got to where they are today by licking up to the guys above them. I know of managers who instead of geting any business for the organization have been more preoccupied with making plans to enrich themselves and then when asked to show results come up with excuses like recession, ecconomic slowdown, etc.....
If the manager is sensible, you have to take care of his words, if he's not...viceversa.
well isnt that prevalent. greasing to get projects is becoming the norm it has become a kind of fashion statement
Your are perfectly right , there are many like you.
But try to make out a balance, oppose / agree to them on a case to case basis ..

I am doing my best, the important is when i see my team happy and loving their jobs just because of me,
only shows your immature and stubborn...AND NOT READY for the real world. You can't call yourself a professional if you act this way.
To climb the ladder, you have to take one step at the time...start from the bottom. It doesn't mean you be a kiss-ass, but PROVE TO THEM you're different, that you know what your job entails and it will help you rise up.
You can't be a good leader if you're not a good follower.

the issue is they think that they the clever ones, and happy you see them managing, shame on them, nowadays you find your self acting as a tool only, no value, but i am supposed to be men who keeps trace and make shadow and wherever i go i keep good impression, i feel proud of that, does not matter how i am earning, but i feel always happy.
Let them live the way they want and live the way you want to. Don't stress out yourself. Simple.
