Negativity...

By yano_08

I am just observing lately here in QL and I just can't keep my observation to myself now.

The observation is:
"Some if not Most QLers prefers responding to negative postings..."

Now why did i say that?

Well, let's just take a look at the number of replies on good postings with relevance and compare it to number of replies to postings with so much "negativity" to tell. I did'nt need to explain more, do I?

On why it is happening like that, really puzzles me. :(

Would you care help me see some light here?

i must say, that this topic being devoid of "controversial" sting on it, shall eventually sink

down to obscurity just like the rest.

what to do now?

so be it, if that is the calling of real life...

"but does reality really bites?"

"When you're Happy for No Reason, you don't need to manipulate the world around you to make yourself happy. You bring happiness to your everyday experiences rather than trying to extract happiness from them...."

just to quote a phrase from an article i received...

anybody, does it ring a bell?

not done in a certain way that's why they deviate or act "negatively". Although there are some people who turn the negative acts into a productive/positive outcome.

negativity is a necessity, people generally need a reality check.

i am hoping that,

a word or two that can be brought up here shall be able to ring a bell from anyone that can really turn on the light :)

you are right! yano, EGO, in a negative thread, everyone comes up with their own idea, without any second thought. Thanks for the creator of QL, has anyone wonder why there is a Preview comment button? Maybe it's for us to make a second look of what we are posting.

is that a warning, or deliberate thought provoking?

Most of the negative issues, comments, topic makes the human brain to respond in a rational manner coz at times it affects the ego of the person...

as simple as the law of attraction applies, if it's a negative vibe, it will attract negative thinkers, disguised as positive advice, remember the law of magnetism? opposite poles attract but like poles repel.

maybe we can learn "human behavior" as observed from real life happening....

just like this one observation, we may get to learn something from here. who knows....

i am active in trading and i get to observe as well that traders do act in unison most of the time... governed by this so called "human behavior"

QL has a circle of life. This time of year is, I believe a negative time, it's getting too warm and people are fed up and looking forward to the summer vacation. The jolliest time on QL is late summer, early Autumn. Lots of new people and the old ones refreshed from their holiday.

"negative" threads tend to be an exciting target for those who simply wanted their life to be thrilling and avoid a monotony. Just like the news, negative news sells more to the public than a positive one.

Scientists call that "negativity bias" - primitive survival wiring that causes people to pay more attention to the negative than the positive.

but how about the bashing of the "negative" thread author?

does it imply any intellectuality?
