Near death experience. Is death the end?

swissgirl39
By swissgirl39

After watching a documentation film on TV about near death eperiences,i am thinking a lot about it.What do you believe,is there a life after death? And where? In Paradise?Or do we come back to earth in another Body?Or is death the ultimative end?
Personaly i believe after death i will be in Paradise, near god.United with all those i loved here on earth.
How do you think about it?

Gypsy Gal,

yeah, you are right. If you have noticed, all these experiences are nearly the same...like going thru a tunnel towards the bright light at the end of it. According to science the chemicals produced by brain at that crucial time are responsible for these 'near death experiences'.

These chemicals actually ease the pain and thats why there is always a 'feeling lite' experience. Scientists have proven this by inducing the same chemicals into the brain of a healthy person and got exactly the same results.

I have seen this on Discovery Channel.

I also read a lot about near missed death and life after death... its almost the same for everyone. They all go through a dark tunnel...end of the tunnel you see very bright light this was mentioned by almost everyone....a beautiful place which match very much to our concept of Heaven. They saw their long lost relatives waiting for them...I really believe in life after death..a place where there is no war..no poverty...no meteoritic need...happiness and only happiness..

Dweller... good nobody was waiting for you.. Maybe all your loved ones were on earth and praying for you...and we are all got the privilege of meeting a nice person like you in QL. God bless you!

see a tunnel but a very very bright light.

There was no one "waiting for me" so I came back ;-)

Guys these where people who went through the near death experience and not the real deal! you know this tunnel story and meeting the your dead loved ones..etc

By CYman• 24 Jul 2007 00:26

so interviewing these people you learn nothing about death. Death for me is the end. No interviews can be given after the end. Wish there was somebody who came back from there, but there isn't so we will never know. As far as I am concerned I believe death is the absolute end of every living creature

May the roof above us never fall in, and may the friends below never fall out!

I read a complete book about this subject, and most of the people interviewed said that the experience was very pleasenet, note that they came from differenet relegious backgrounds, so guess it is the same for all of us in the end...a much better place than here

One of my best friend died for 6 minutes, which during that time didn't see light, hell, paradise etc......she said there was NOTHING. However, as she came back to life, maybe this had something to do with it?? We won't find out until we die.....so might as well make the best of it :)

I can probably imagine your story but can also understand it's not one you wish to go into on a public forum, but thanks for sharing your belief.

Hey! I hope you are in fine health now.

Well, on Christmas eve, 1998, I had an allergic reaction to Codeine (Tylenol 3 - a prescription drug) that ended in cardiac arrest. I was without pulse for over a minute, but (thanks to the ER nurses at Eagle Ridge Hospital - Coquitlam, BC, Canada) I came back.

I have a very long story to tell, but I don't quite feel at liberty to talk about it in public.

However, I do strongly believe in life after death.

And what about Hinduism the Bhagvad Geeta that aint a book ? There are also some principles embodied therein....

Luk all religions have to be respected but people change their faiths most of the times due to lack of knowledge of the existing faith or confidence in their existing faith......

islamic teachings are more close to judaism than to christianity. try studying judaism and you will realize it.

I respect all religions be it islam, christianity, judaism, hinduism, buddhism etc. I believe they all preach the lesson of peace and harmony. I believe everyone has the right to live with their own free will and practice what he or she deems right.

that 'something within us' that no-one else can touch. It's our inner self, our 'mind'. We are each alone with the thoughts in our mind.

So, does our soul go on in for ever? Be nice to think so.

I shall wait and see what happens when I take that final sleep and if I awake surprised then I will be very happy ... if I don't, then I won't know about it anyway!!!

Look the ways of calling god may be dissimilar But the people who are christians or hindus dont force their religion on others.....

Faith is a personal issue lets not forget, but the idea of spirituality is similar between hindus and christians like the priests in temples can be compared to the nuns in churches, and the views are moderate.... Although stray incidents of extremism is there in every religion depending on each ones tolerance limits..

In the begining Satan was Gods best and trustfulst Angel. But then he wanted to be similar or more then God.So God kicked him out from Paradise. And now he tries to all to make us following him and not God.Because he is still jealous and he can not accept God is more than him. This is our daily proof to resist his promises.

for every sin we commit we blame satan. we commit sins knowing we are wrong and even then we blame satan that he misguided us. what does satan get by making us commit sins?

why is satan spending his energy on making us do bad deeds when he knows that he will not get anything in return?

where is satan? and is satan so powerful that he makes us do these sins and we are helpless. why doesn't god stop satan from straying us away from the right path?

for all these answer you have to wait and die.............

The suffering never ends it goes on and on.

you die hoping that the pain will go away and you are sent to hell for more. God rewards us by making us suffer in this world and then in the world after death. We are being punished because of oure forefathers. Adam and Eve ate the apple and were kicked out of heaven. but what did we do? we never got the chance to even see heaven.
