His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani urged the prime ministers of Pakistan and India, Imran Khan and Narendra Modi respectively, to exercise restraint and ease the existing tensions between the two countries by means of peaceful dialogue.

Over his telephonic conversations held with the two South Asian leaders yesterday, HH the Amir stressed on the need to act with wisdom and maintain composure.

In the conversation between HH the Amir and PM Khan, the two leaders discussed regional and international developments, particularly differences between India and Pakistan, reported the Gulf Times.

While speaking to PM Modi, HH the Amir emphasized the strong bilateral ties between Qatar and India coupled with discussions on the most prominent regional and international developments, such as the conflict between India and Pakistan, according to The Peninsula

The significance of settling the issue through dialogue is paramount, HH the Amir stressed.

The Indian premier appreciated Qatar’s dignified leader for taking interest in putting the matter to rest between India and Pakistan.

Most of the world use google for news and information. As TV news media is generally biased and don't give you the true picture. I just shared facts available on google and not my personal opinion. True enemy of Pakistan and the world is terrorism. Pakistani establishment(Army/ISI) have used it as a weapon against their enemies. Today Pakistan is suffering because of these policies.

If there are no atrocities in Kashmir, there will no conflict. Listen to the wishes of the people there.

AaronDz: In order to spew openly your hatred for Pakistan (and possibly Muslims) you have stepped off the subject and brought in Osama Bin Laden. You also became blind to the facts I had stated in my earlier post where I said that Pakistan has been the greatest sufferer of terrorism in the world, having lost over 70,000 people, including troops.

Osama Bin Laden was the "Good Boy/Bad Boy" of the US. He was initially supported by the US during the Aghan-Soviet war. Later, when OBL went a different way, he became the Bad Boy of the world.

Before spewing out your hatred of Pakistan (and possibly also Muslims) you should have recalled the murder of 150 school children some as young as 4, at the hands of terrorists which took place at the Army Public School in Peshawar. The brutal attack was organized by a terrorist Mullah Fazl from Afghanistan and executed by his group. Have you ever called Afghanistan a terrorist country?

The brutal murder in Peshawar forced the Pakistan Army to take these terrorists head-on. The Army fought against an "unseen" enemy and lost over 3000 soldiers in their battle to root out terrorism from Pakistan. This number of loss of troops overrides casualties of soldiers in actual war. The terrorists were killed and their infrastructure destroyed, and they escaped into Afghanistan through the porous border.

Pakistan has done much to stamp out terrorism from its soil. Pakistan has paid a very heavy price in men and material which no country has, facing and fighting terrorism.

Just commenting on Pakistan while rocking on your armchair and gleaning information through Google and then using those information against a country, simply reflects the hollowness of mind, your poor understanding the world and your lack of accepting ground realities in their true perspective.

Folk’s kindly search in Google for “Pakistan and State-Sponsored terrorism ". You will get a thorough knowledge of terrorism originating from Pakistani soil. From the article you can easily see that many countries including India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh etc are effected by terrorists sponsored by Pakistani establishment. For more proof you can check out the references given at the bottom of article. It is no coincidence that Osama Bin Laden was living a peaceful life in Abbottabad until he was killed by US Seals. Ignorance is bliss knowledge is power.

In Sha ALLAH! ALLAH help those who help themselves. I don't want to say good of one and bad to another (Biased). War is nothing but destruction of everything. It is said neighbors are the one who always come to rescue first. Be good to neighbors.

write2azi: You statement saying that Pakistan should not help terrorism is way off the mark and reflects your biased views about this country. For your information, Pakistan has been the biggest victim of terrorism having lost 70,000 people so far, including troops.

The recent incident that took place in Pulwama was planned and executed by the Indian government which was very quick to blame Pakistan of the incident. Pulwama is located about 100 kms from the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir. With over 150,000 soldiers present in Indian administered Kashmir, is it possible for a person to smuggle 200+ kgs of explosives to Pulwama and carry out such an attack? It just does not make sense. The whole attack was planned in advance just to create a scenario where Pakistan could be given a bashing so that Modi could get his votes and get elected to his second term. Last time when he won the elections, it was due to his open hatred of Muslims and his plan of Hindutva. This time he thought Pakistan-bashing would do the trick. Politics is very dirty business.

But unfortunately things didn't work his way. He landed up wiping a bloodied nose. This, plus the efforts of world leaders, have helped to calm the atmosphere at the border.

Hope it remains that way, and better sense prevails on both sides.

I salute you, your HH The Amir for taking the step in diffusing the tension between the two countries.

War is a result of total failure of diplomacy. It's only the poor mass who suffer the most from the fallout of war.

Appreciate Ya Amir,

This is the only solution to resolve the current tension between two nations.
