Anti Islaamic Sites

List of anti Islaamic sites and Exposé of 3 sites posting false convert stories

Exposé of three sites posting false convert stories

1. http://www.islamreview.com

This site has posted fake stories of how Muslims converted to Christianity. How do I know? Read the following excerpt from one of the stories:

First the 'convert' says: (emphasis added)
In the end, I managed to convince my mother, as it was for Allah and I joined the Islamic College. Having graduated as an ustaz, I was soon posted to my neighbourhood…

And then:
My trip to Mecca for the Haj (pilgrimage) was tiring but eventful. I did not have the rare opportunity to see inside the holy Kabah and the holy idols inside, which Prophet Muhammud had helped to place, as explained in Bukhari’s Hadith

An Ustaz (scholar) in Islaamic Studies is saying that there are idols inside the Kabah and that too placed by Muhammad (saw) himself!?!?!

This clearly shows that the author is deliberately trying to spread misinformation about Islaam and wants to convey to possible reverts to Islaam that it is religion of idol worship.

In fact most of the Christian sites use this tactic of false convert stories but it's not always possible to prove it

2. http://www.faithfreedom.org/

AlhamduliLlaah I was able to catch another site posting fake stories of Muslims leaving Islaam. See the false information imparted here. That the attempt is deliberate is known through the claim that the 'convert' has done detailed study about the topic.
For Islamic Education, I had to study about marriage in detail to do well. So, I learnt all the stuff and got the highest grade anyone can get for Islamic Education. And guess what? Because I know it so well, I know that there is a lot of discrimination against women in Islam. Things like a father and grandfather can marry a girl/woman to whomever they want even if the girl/woman doesn’t want to marry that person… In addition, I learned things like women couldn’t be witnesses in Syariah Courts and things like that

The first point here is a total lie whereas the second is a distorted version of the truth.

3. http://www.answering-islam.org/Testimonies/younathan.html

Here's yet another extract from a false convert story aimed at spreading misinformation about Islaam.

As I started thinking about my life and the Quran, I realized all Muslims, even the prophet Muhammad, would go to Hell for certain sins they committed in their lifetime.

This is a common ploy of the Christian Missionaries. They first inform gullible victims that Jesus (God) is Love and just by believing in the Crucifixion, you will be assured of Paradise. Whereas the concept of God in Islaam is so harsh that no one will be spared from Hell and that even Prophet Muhammad (saw) was not sure of where he would end up. For this purpose they quote an ayat of the Qur'aan out of context. Here there have gone a step further by saying that even our beloved Prophet (saw) would have to go through hell. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Oh for FFS if your belief and unconditional love is for Islam why on earth do you even care about anti-Islam sites?

It just brings negativity and extremism – go about your business and forget that these sites exist – hello this is the WWW and you can’t take everything to heart.

I’m a Catholic and most certainly don’t care about others opinion because in my heart I know why I love god no matter what anyone says. Having said this, why does it matter if this info is true or not? I really don’t get it!!

lol! Yep, that's the way to restore some credibility! Try and address the issues raised rather than just insulting people. Even if I was a Muslim I'd take issue with what you'd posted, since you've just copy-n-pasted without checking the validity of the information. Someone else has now done that for you in the comments above, but you choose to insult them rather than discuss it sensibly.

The Anti-Islam websites and Deviant websites came from Dr. Bilal's official website.

To all of you arrogant disbelievers who are trying to hinder men/women from the path of Allah, if you don't desist, your abode will be the HEllFIRE and all of you can contest it until I'm blue in the face! But I know what Allah (GOD) has promised for the disbelievers. I can care less whether God guides your arrogant bums/butts,a**** or not. And if you have a beef with the websites that were collected, DIRECT your comments to Dr. Bilal who holds a PHD in Islamic Studies or are you afraid to debate with him about your viewpoints....and last but not least...just GOOGLE it yourself to find his website!

The post above was directed towards the arrogant disbelievers and NOT the Muslims. You're welcome to those who appreciated the websites...

And to the arrogant disbelievers... You're not my teacher, you're not my mother, you're not my counselor, etc. So quit lecturing me about how to post. Keep your lectures and all your other garbage inside your classrooms and houses!

yes you are correct - the site you qouted is indeed an aggressively anti-Islamic site of Christian origin and would fall into the 2nd of my catagories.

I was just commenting that not all the sites listed are anti-Islamic in nature.

Anyone can share whatever they want and of course it's up to them if they actually check the content first or not.

My original point was about how it affects her credibility. Is she happy that she's posted something that appears to be false - i.e. not all those sites are anti-Islamic? If people start posting things without checking them first and they turn out to be incorrect, then people aren't going to take future posts seriously.

Tallg it would have been better if she had given the sources but what is the responsibility she needs to take for sharing information? which maybe helpful to some of us and i believe it doesnt hurt anyone on QL. does it?

let us just give the girl a chance to share things with us in the next times she will give us the source too.

and "false stories".

Although this is only a Youtube video, people of all faiths try to pull the wool over peoples eyes - this one just happens to be the most ridiculous and hysterically funny.

Here is the blurb that is put up with the video:

"This is a genuine video captured by one of my freind in a famous museum located at MIDDLE EAST, a lady who was very fond of watching movies, one day her mother was reciting Quran, instructed her daughter to swtiched off the TV, but instead of obeying her mother's order she took one unhuman/unlawful/shameful/

unexpected from a muslim action by ma'zallah throwing the Quran, & see how she got punished in this world, IMMEDIATELY she turned into a LIZARD. I've uploaded this video for those who throw some very unhuman & wrong

comments on islamic Belief so that they can get some I'brat (Lessons), May ALLAH show them the right way,Ameen,,,, .

I request you not to put any scams on this video, if you don't agree please keep that till you, no need to

put any comments.

This incident was happend in INDIA. "

Or

just a man with Halloween style make-up under a blanket - which one seems more plausible to you?

&eurl=http://richarddawkins.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=59269

or this one, proporting to show a photograph of the same girl (prehaps someone can translate the verse of the Qu'ran on the sound track) but the photograph in the magazine is of a sculpture by Praticia Piccinini see here -

NASHEEDZ - are you happy posting stuff under your name without checking the validity first?

By adey• 4 Oct 2008 23:56
adey

After reviewing all the sites, something I shouldn't think Nasheedz has done, though I am happy to be told differently, they fall into 5 broad areas:

1 - Those that are blocked by Qtel

2 - Aggressively anti-Islamic sites, whether non-religious or Christian in Origin.

3 - Those that are just Christian sites wishing to answer Muslims questions about Christianity.

4 - sites run by Muslims that are against the Salafist agenda.

5 - One academic history paper that explores the roots of the Qu'ran. see:

http://www.studytoanswer.net/myths_ch1.html

I found one site, namely http://www.mosque.com/ , which appears to be there by mistake - it is clearly a well-written introduction to English speakers wishing to learn about Islam in a serious way, written by practicing Muslims.

I found the most personally refreashing site to be http://www.centerforinquiry.net/isis with its declaration of:

“We are secular Muslims, and secular persons of Muslim societies. We are believers, doubters, and unbelievers, brought together by a great struggle, not between the West and Islam, but between the free and the unfree.”

Hardly an ‘anti-Islamic’ site, although some, but not all, of it’s proponents are Islamic apostates.

I would conjecture that a third of the sites that one could open would not be called Anti-Islamic sites. Approximately 10 were blocked by Qtel.

:)
