Where can I buy an Indian Ringneck Parrot?
Im looking to buy an in Indian ringneck, you know the green ones. Ive tried both shops on Al Mergab and all the ones near the airport area, and they are either all sold out, or claiming extorionate prices like QR1200.
Where can I buy one for a reasonable price?

Or just leave them in the wild. Very few birds in this country are captive bred, please try and find one that is. 1,000QR is the going rate.
Unfortunately because of the whole bird flu epidemic it is still quite difficult to get birds into Qatar. Because the cost of shipping them in has increased, so has the price to buy them. Souq Waqif is your best chance of getting one at a slightly lower price but still be prepared to pay about QR1,000.

Try the old Souq, right behind Hotel Waqif is a whole street with bird shops - think i have seen many indian ringnecks there. prices I dont know, but you can probably bargain

There are animal shops in souq waqif, and birds are sold there.. not sure how reliable it is there tho..
