First of all, take into consideration your flat/villa. If you're only renting a room, does your landlord & housemates mind if you have a pet in your place?

Also, it's almost summer time so keeping your dog in a cool place should be considered. We don't want the poor thing to suffer or worse, die from heat stroke, right?
