I am looking for my cat, have you seen her?
I have lost my cat Io and I miss her so much! She is a long-haired black cat with a golden-red undercoat that makes her look like chocolate in the Sun. She has golden eyes. Io did not have a collar on but she has been micro-chipped. Io is 3 years old. Last seen near Decoration RA in Al Waab district 5 days ago. If you find her please call my mobile 571-7988.
Its almost impossible to find here now coz here in doha u may see lot of black cats in streets , garbage boxes also onthe top roof of flats...
Believe me i have seen a black cat with golden eyes in my flats parking in sana round about but 15/20 days back but it was a dirty looking cat... im sure it was not yours...
Make a poster with a photo and the chip number and take to the vet clinic. When I worked at Doha Vets we reunited quite a lot of people with their cats and dogs this way. The police will accept the chip as evidence of ownership, this is important as friendly cats sometimes get sold at the Souk for a lot of money. As awful as it is, you also need to go to the Souk animal market every day, if it is a long haired cat they may try and sell it if they found it.
At my clinic, when people brought in a new pet, we always scanned it for a chip to make sure it wasn't lost or stolen.
If you offer a reward you may get lots of calls but be careful of people trying to take you for a ride.
