I have used both Paws and Claws and Pampered Pets. Both are the standard I have had in the UK and I have been very happy. My dog was sick last summer (through no fault of the kennels) and Paws and Claws emailed me regularly to let me know how he was doing and photos of him to shop I didn't need to worry.
Pampered Pets is also very well run, the guy who lives in genuinely loves the dogs and cats, you can see by the way they act with him.
Whichever you choose BOOK EARLY, 12 months in advance for December and the summer months if you can. They get very full very early.
There are several options for boarding dogs here in Qatar. Paws and Claws are based on a farm just outside Doha. The dogs have air-conditioned kennels with permanent access to outside exercise runs. They are also walked twice a day around the farm and they have guys who live on site 24 hours a day. You can contact Janet on 528 6335 but please be aware that most places are booked up for the summer already!!
You mean boarding facility, right. There are I believe 2-3 options here in Doha. However, when I was on holiday last year,my dog stayed in the Veterinary Surgery. They were kept in an airconditioned room in very spacious kennels. Plus, it's always comforting to know that while you're away your pet is taken care of by well-trained people.I believe then, it cost approximately 40-50 QAR/ day- depending on the size of kennel.
Qatar's winter months are brimming with unmissable experiences, from the AFC Asian Cup 2023 to the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 and a variety of outdoor adventures and cultural delights.
